Lanchester Wines is one of the UK’s leading supplier of quality wines and spirits to 

the trade, successfully operating and innovating across every element of the UK wine 

industry. 

Established in 1980, we’ve never lost focus on what’s important and that’s 

consistently over-delivering on quality and service. Our portfolio is relevant and 

credible, and we have over 3,000 SKUs across the business. This provides our 

customers with wines and spirits to meet every requirement, from some of the finest 

wines in the world, through to award-winning house wines. 

We’re an independent, family-owned business which allows us to focus on delivering 

quality products and service over dividends, and to be both flexible and fast moving in 

line with the ever changing global wine market. 

We also feel strongly that it’s our duty to preserve our planet, which is why we’ve to 

date invested £8million in developing clean, renewable energy and heat generation for

Introduction 

In October 2017, reports of global wine shortages and looming price hikes 

surfaced after a notably difficult growing season. The production decline 

affected nearly every region worldwide, though Europe was hit particularly 

badly, experiencing its worst grape harvest in over 30 years. 

What a difference a year can make. Thankfully, this year’s harvest reports make for 

much more positive reading with reports with most regions reporting either ‘typical’ 

or record years. However, this doesn’t mean we’re resting on our laurels and our 

buying team has been working harder than ever to maintain consistent supplier for our 

customers at both the quality and price they – and their customers – expect. 

The wine trade witnessed the demise of a number of major businesses over the 

last twelve months, however our business continues to grow. We move into the new 

financial year with new listings, busy and profitable warehouses, and an impetus to 

move into increased profitability. 

Tracking consumer insights is more important than ever. Statistics show alcohol 

consumption is in decline with Brits drinking one less alcoholic drink each week on 

average and Millennials in particular more concerned about the quantity of alcohol they 

imbibe. 

As a leading supplier of alcohol, we understand the need to innovate our offering to 

ensure our customers can provide for their customers. We’ve extended the availability 

of wines in 37.5cl half bottles (page 89) and will relaunch our Dragon Tree Kombucha 

which has been created for today’s health-conscious consumer seeking an alternative 

soft drink whether in or out of home (page 11). 

As a forward thinking business, we believe sustainability will continue to rise to the 

top of the agenda. We already generate over 5.5million Kilowatt hours of renewable 

energy per year which powers our site and we have further leading edge innovations 

coming to fruition in 2019 (page 5).

A Sustainable Wine Size Business 

Matters 

We believe every business has a duty of care to minimise its impact on the environment, 

which is why Lanchester Wines and the wider Lanchester group of companies has 

worked tirelessly over the last decade to ensure sustainability is at our core. 

There is, unfortunately, no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to sustainability and 

so we’ve invested considerably to identify which changes we can make to lessen our 

effect on our planet. 

Our business’ greatest opportunity to make a change is through minimising our reliance 

on fossil fuels. As such, we’ve invested over £8million in renewable heat and energy 

generation at our sites across the North East of England and today our business is 

powered almost completely by renewable wind and solar energy. 

 

 

Our four wind turbines produce around 5.5million kWh (kilowatt hours) of 

clean, renewable electricity per year. We use around 42% of this electricity to 

run operations at our Greencroft Estate (including Lanchester Wines, Greencroft 

Bottling and Lanchester Gifts) with the remaining electricity – enough to power 

800 three bedroom homes - feeding into the National Grid for use within our local 

community. 

We also have a 41 kilowatt solar array on the roof of Lanchester Wines’ office 

complex, which is calculated to produce enough clean electricity to cover our 

day-to-day use. The chemical reactions which occur within solar panels are more 

efficient at cooler temperatures so County Durham’s bright and sunny, yet rather 

chilly, weather is perfect for our solar panels. 

As a business, we continue to 

make choices about our long-term 

sustainability which go above and 

beyond both legislation and common 

practice. We are pioneering worldchanging 

heat pump technology 

using water from disused mines at 

our warehouses in Gateshead. Due 

to launch this year, this will not only 

enable our customers to further 

reduce their carbon footprint, but also 

revolutionise how clean technology 

can be used in former mining areas 

across the world.

If you fast forward to page 59 you’ll see our selection of Portuguese wines has grown 

considerably. This is because we believe Portuguese wines will become increasingly 

popular with your customers this year, and here’s why. 

While Port and Vinho Verde remain the most well known of wines from Portugal, overall 

sales of Portuguese wines in the UK are up over 37% in volume and almost 46% in 

value last year – and this trends shows no signs of slowing. 

The country boasts over 250 indigenous grape varieties leading some wine experts to 

name Portugal as the last frontier of wine in Western Europe; there is still so much to be 

tasted and explored. Which is an attractive proposition for the wine curious customer, 

keen to seek out new wines on an exploratory oenological journey. 

Of all Portugal’s 14 Vinho Regional (wine regions), the north eastern region of Douro is 

considered one of the best. 

The Douro River, Portugal 

The steep, terraced vineyards along the Douro River have been producing world class 

wines for centuries – and are so impressive the entire region was made a UNESCO 

world heritage site. Wines were mostly in the form of the famous dessert wine, port 

however, in the last few decades still wines are emerging from the shadows. Because 

there were already established vineyards and talented winemakers in the area, the 

region’s production grew rapidly and with outstanding quality. 

It’s because of this superiority and reputation that Douro wines make up the majority of 

our Portuguese wine selection. We have created a range of wines to suit all customers,

The Argentinian wine industry has seen 

significant growth over the past five years, as 

has the quality of the wine produced. Chile 

previously dominated South American wine 

exports but Argentina makes almost five times 

as much wine, and has been catching up fast 

on export markets. 

Located in the eastern foothills of the Andes, in 

the shadow of Mount Aconcagua, the Mendoza 

Province is Argentina’s most important wine 

region, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the 

country’s entire wine production. Vineyards are 

planted at some of the highest altitudes in the 

world, with the average site located 600–1,100 

metres (2,000–3,600 ft) above sea level. 

Team Selection 

Ian Richardson: For an Argentine wine choice it 

has to be Malbec, which has become its own 

super varietal - my personal favourite is Square 

Ranch. It’s packed with bramble fruit and ripe 

dark plum, with light spice and smooth tannin. A 

great drink either with steak or by itself.

character with notes of red fruits, strawberry, cherry and plum. 

These are complemented by distinctive mineral notes and in

This is 100% Malbec grown in the calcareous soils of Paraje 

Altamira, Uco Valley. As the label illustrates, the wine is 

fermented and aged in concrete as opposed to stainless steel 

tanks or oak barriques. Its strong and ripped, bold and peppery.

Nestled in the department of Tupungato in the 

province of Mendoza, lies the Gouguenheim 

Winery. Its location in the foothills of the Andes 

Mountains, with vineyards at more than 1,000m 

altitudes, means there is a huge difference 

between wines from this region with those that 

come from other parts of Mendoza. 

Established by Patricio Gouguenheim nearly 

20 years ago, it was in 2014 that the winery 

became the first in the country to make and 

sell a sparkling wine made from the country’s 

signature grape called Malbec Bubbles Rosé 

Extra Brut.

François Lurton Bodega Piedra Negra 

After searching extensively across several regions of Argentina, François 

Lurton planted his vines in the Uco Valley, in the foothills of the Andes 

Cordillera, at an altitude of 1,100 m, in semi-desert conditions. 

A pioneer of the Uco Valley, he built his winery, Bodega Piedra Negra, in 

the heart of 200 hectares of virgin land acquired in the middle of what, 

a few years later, would become the Geographical Indication of Los 

Chacayes.

From the iconic to the lesser known, 

Australia’s 65 wine regions each boast 

distinct characteristics, and the country’s 

grape growing and winemaking 

continues to evolve. 

Australia is the second largest source of wine 

imports into the UK by volume and third largest 

by value, while the UK is Australia’s largest 

export market in volume terms, accounting 

for approximately 28% of total exported wine 

volume in 2017. 

Around 80% of Australian wine is shipped to the 

UK as bulk for bottling in market. 


Ian Richardson: This is the year of Italians 

down under, with Australian winemakers 

increasingly using classic Italian varietals such 

as Montepulciano, Sangiovese, Fiano etc. We’re 

also seeing some exciting blends combining 

these classic grapes with Australian favourites 

(check out Aquarius Sangiovese Shiraz, page 

22). 

My personal favourite is the new Bella Luna 

Nero d’Avola from McPherson Wines in Victoria. 

The nose is floral with a touch of spice, yet 

earthy with lots of character. This wine delivers 

on fruit and style and is a great all-rounder.

Celebrating 

Andrew and Nicki McPherson established a small vineyard in Central Victoria, Australia in 

1968. With their family’s help they built one of Australia’s leading wineries and are widely 

recognised as pioneers of the Australian Wine Industry. 

Today, McPherson Wines are being enjoyed in 26 countries across the globe 

and are one of Australia’s largest family-owned wineries. 

The wines are celebrated for their beautifully crafted, fruit-driven Australian style. 

Jo Nash is McPherson’s winemaker. She believes 

the wine is made in the vineyard, and makes 

decisions in her vineyards in the early days to 

influence the quality of wine in the glass. Throughout 

the year she carefully manages the process - during 

the growing season, at harvest, through the crush 

to the wonderful barrels. With careful and thoughtful 

attention to every vintage she attempts to bring some 

of that magic she fell in love with so long ago into 

every glass.

nuances of pears, lychees and exotic spice. Hints of spicy pear 

and red apple appear on the palate.

In 2014, winemaker Jo Nash discovered an 

exceptional parcel of Shiraz from the 

Grampians which she gently crushed, 

then tucked away in some ridiculously 

expensive French oak barrels to age for 

12 months. And, the legend continues 

#Dont Tell Gary. 

This is a special occasion wine 

which speaks for itself - minimal 

intervention, purity of fruit. Shiraz at

beautifully. The wine is an orgy of bright red berries and yummy 

fruit. Rich, ripe and full of delicious Frankland River Shirazy 

goodness and old world savoury charm. 

Modern Red Shiraz Pinot Noir

67% Shiraz and Pinot Noir at 33% from 20 year old vines, hand 

harvested, barrel matured in French oak barriques for seven 

months. Pretty, floral, red cherry and strawberry aromatics with 

the raspberry and spice of cool climate Shiraz adding punch to 

the palate. These challenging times call for a Modern Red with 

old fashioned values!

McLaren Flat Grenache. These old vines provide wonderful history

The wine offers a delicious raspberry lift, with plum and spicy 

notes adding to the array of aromas. The palate is pretty and 

brooding, rich and textural with raspberry and plum flavours. This 

is seriously good McLaren Vale Grenache – terrifically versatile 

with food, it’s well suited to many occasions.

A beautiful example of this classic Southern Rhone blend. Old 

Vine McLaren Flat Grenache from 80+ year old vines forms 

the backbone, Shiraz provides structure and weight whilst 

Mourvedre adds the X-factor of fruit cake spice, earthiness and

A tremendous array of aromas and flavours are on offer – 

raspberry, plum, blackberry and spicy notes abound, all wrapped 

up in a beautifully textured palate. The finish is long, generous 

and satisfying. Grounded Cru GSM is a truly versatile food 

wine and has been well awarded with a Gold Medal at the 2017 

McLaren Vale Wine Show and a 5 Star rating in Winestate

Chile is geographically and climatically 

dominated by the Andes to the east and the 

Pacific Ocean to the west with its vineyards 

found along an 800-mile stretch of land from 

the northern Atacama Region to the Bío Bío 

Region in the south. The climate is varied with 

the northerly regions being very hot and dry 

compared to the cooler, wetter regions in the 

south which creates a widely varied viticulture. 

The Valle Central is Chile’s most productive and 

internationally known wine region, due in large 

part to its proximity to the country’s capital, 

Santiago. It spans the O’Higgins and Maule 

administrative regions as well as the 

Metropolitana Region, and within it are four 

subregions: Maipo Valley, Rapel Valley, Curicó 

Valley and Maule Valley.

While Sparkling dominates the English wine 

category, still wine production is on the up 

with wine producers having learned huge 

amounts in recent years about the optimum 

conditions for growing vines. 

Whites are the best known of English wines 

and are most commonly made from Germanorigin 

grape varieties, most notably Bacchus. 

Germanic varietals are also used within rosé 

predominantly Rondo and Dornfelder. However, 

Pinot Noir, which many say creates the best 

English reds, also makes an excellent rosé and 

we’re now seeing much more of that coming 

through. 


Lesley Cook: For something a little different 

I’ve chosen Shoreline by the Lyme Bay Winery 

in Devon. It’s an unusual, yet excellent, blend 

of Bacchus, Pinot Blanc, Seyval Blanc and 

Reichensteiner creating a dry and crisp wine

The German wine business has changed out 

of all recognition in the last 30 years and today 

the country is home to nearly 135 different 

grape varieties, from well-known favourites 

such as Riesling and Pinot Noir, to the 

lesser known such as Huxelrebe and Blauer 

Lemberger. 

With 64.5% of Germany’s vineyards dedicated 

to producing knock-out white wine, and 11.5% 

to Pinot Noir, it’s never been a more exciting 

time for German wine production. 

German wine is primarily produced in the 

west of Germany, along the river Rhine and its

bottle for at least six months. It is immaculate and free from barrel aromatic interference so 

that its uniqueness is fully preserved along with its warm, refined and mature taste. 

The wine is made up of a 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, and is 

initially structured through Double Reasoned Maturation. 

An intense ruby red colour with garnet highlights, aromas of blueberry, blackberry and wild 

strawberries lead onto hints of plum, black cherries and vanilla with light nuances of tobacco, 

dark chocolate and green pepper. In the mouth it is warm, elegant, mature and complex. 

Notes of ripe berries and the wine is soft and pleasantly tannic, a long finish with good

‘Le Argille’ translates as ‘concrete’ in Italian paying hommage to both this excellent wine’s

La Guardiense 

The farming co-operative La Guardiense, which is one of the biggest 

in Italy, was founded in 1960 by 33 farsighted and courageous 

farmers. Today it counts around 1,000 farmer members.

on around 1,500 hectares of vineyards. These are situated mainly 

on hilly land at an average height of 350 metres with a yearly grape 

production of about 200,000 quintals (around 20million kilograms). 

Great attention is paid to environmental sustainability which is

Great attention is paid to all details of vineyard management to achieve the 

best polyphenolic ripening of the grapes. Strict low yields are maintained with a

Moldova may not be the first country 

that springs to mind. However, Moldovan 

winemaking dates back to 3000BC and 

present day wine sector in Moldova is on an 

upward trend with exports up 5.5% in 2017. 

Moldova is situated in the South-East of Europe 

between Ukraine and Romania in the Black Sea 

basin. The country lies on the same latitude as 

Bordeaux though its climate is more continental 

creating ideal conditions for growing grapes. 

The four key Moldovan wine growing regions

climate producer however the summer of 

2017/18 was the hottest on record. This 

resulted in early harvest in some regions 

however, the tail end of cyclones Gita & Fehi 

brought over 100mm of rain resulting in a 

very soggy end and, subsequently, a smaller 

harvest than anticipated (only 419,000 tonnes). 

Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir are the

Despite its size, Portugal is among the 10 

largest wine-producing countries in the world 

with still wine sales up 37.1% by volume and 

45.8% by value in the UK last year. 

Portugal has more indigenous grape varieties 

than any other country – more than 250 plus 

a few imports (ie Alicante Bouschet) that have 

adapted well to the Portuguese landscape. And, 

because Portugal’s wine culture developed in 

relative isolation, there are many grape varieties 

that do not grow anywhere else in the world.

sixth biggest wine producing country in 

Europe, with around 4m hectolitres produced 

annually. While many of the key grape varieties 

are now similar to the rest of Europe - Merlot, 

Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, 

Sauvignon Blanc - some domestic varieties 

of note include reds Băbească and Fetească 

Neagră, and whites Fetească Regală,

The Cramele Recas estate is located on the far western fringes of 

Romania`s Transylvania / Banat region, where wines have been produced 

since the mid 15th century. 

Oldest records of the Cramele Recas winery date back to 1447 when the 

lord of Severin, Mihail de Ciorna, purchased the vineyards in Recas. Its 

modern history began 20 years ago when current winery owners bought the Cramele Recas 

winery off the Romanian government for $1 million and started a programme of significant 

investment growing the winery to 980 hectares. 

During these two decades, Cramele Recas has grown into the largest exporter of Romanian 

wine, with a capacity to produce 20 million bottles.

top 10 wine producing countries of the world 

with over 10m hl produced annually. Over 

the past 20 years wine imports from South 

Africa have grown exponentially, largely due to 

offering great quality and value. In 2018 the UK 

was South Africa’s number one export market. 

The country’s climate is ideal for wine making 

with the topography of the land creating 

hundreds of microclimates which in turn 

produce wines of various styles. The majority 

of wine making occurs on the Northern

Rioja maintains its dominance as Spain’s 

flagship wine region in the UK and accounts 

for nearly half of all Spanish wine sold by value 

and 38% of Spanish wine by volume. 

While the Rioja category is dominated by sales 

of Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva there are 

positive figures in the UK for whites from Rioja 

with volume up 61%. There are six traditional 

Spanish white grape varieties and three 

international grapes permitted in its production, 

the most prominent being Viura, which must be 

a minimum of 51% of the blend. There are two 

key styles of White Rioja: light, lemony-fresh 

tangy whites and full-bodied, rich and nutty 

whites. Our top pick with the growing trend for 

white Rioja is Abadia Milagro’s Rioja Blanco 

2017 which is a fresh and fruity example of 

Viura and is ideal served as an aperitif or a 

perfect partner to fish and seafood. 


Loren Hardwick: Another gem in Abadia 

Milagro’s stable is the 5 Oros Graciano. A wine 

made from 100% Graciano is rare in Rioja as it 

is notoriously low-yielding and susceptible to 

downy mildew. It is typically used as a blending 

grape with Tempranillo and other varietals in 

Rioja. However, with care and attention in the 

vineyard, made on its own it produces spicy,

consumed domestically. Roll forward 40-50 

years and the USA is now the 4th largest 

wine producing country in the world. 

Each of the USA’s incredible wine regions has 

a very different style, approach and result.

based at Quinta de Vista Alegre on the right bank of the Douro River and is dedicated to the

Wine Lists 

While sourcing your venue’s wines and spirits through Lanchester Wines, why not recruit 

our team of in-house designers to create your wine list too? 

We’ve invested heavily in new printing and laminating equipment to create our customers’ 

wine list menus. Our designers work with you to incorporate your colours, logos and 

business style into a bespoke design printed onto the material of your choice. 

Our sales team are all highly trained wine professionals and can advise on how best to 

structure your list to suit, including pairing wine to your food menu and maximising sales 

of profitable lines. Our team will work with you throughout to ensure your wine list remains 

current and relevant to your customers. 

Staff Training 

Our team are wine experts, so why not invite them to train your team? Not only will your 

staff learn how to taste and experience wine at a higher level, they’ll also learn how to 

advise your customers on their wine selection, thus providing your venue with an added 

value service. 

Promotional Support 

Our team of in-house designers and marketing support work closely with account 

managers to provide promotional support as required. 

Alongside your bespoke wine list, we can develop promotional marketing material such 

as tent cards, ‘wine of the week’ leaflets and further promotional activity. Any promotions 

which are run at Lanchester Wines head office will be conveyed to you for sharing with 

customers.

A global wine business 

While Lanchester Wines may be headquartered in the UK, we’re a global business 

with an established and ever growing export arm. We also have a dedicated, full time 

sales team based in Ireland working across both Eire and Northern Ireland 

Our export team and our partners presently distribute Lanchester Wines products 

across Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland and the Middle East, with more markets in 

development. As a business, we have experience exporting to every continent. Our 

customers include travel retail, airlines, hotel groups, leisure corporations, wholesalers, 

on trade and retailers. 

The key to our success is understanding each market – its focus, its approach and, 

most importantly, the different preferences / tastes of its consumers. No two markets 

are the same and we approach each customer with a bespoke offering. 

We work closely with our sister company Greencroft Bottling whose reputation 

for outstanding quality is recognised globally. We’ve developed a strong working 

relationship with many wineries across the southern hemisphere.

Bonding and Distribution 

Lanchester Wines operates a Class A bonded warehouse system over four large 

warehouses in the North East of England. 

Combined, these four sites cover an area in excess of 920,000 ft 2 of high quality, 

bonded warehousing. Importantly, all sites are wholly owned by the Lanchester group 

of companies and we still have room to grow. 

From these warehouses, our fleet of 11 delivery vehicles and our external partners 

distribute our wines to customers seven days a week, handling close to 4,000 pallets 

of wine a day. 

We understand our need to reduce our impact on the environment and continue to 

invest in renewable energy and heat generation across our sites. Wind turbines, 

solar panels and air source heat pumps provide power for our County Durham 

headquarters, while two of our sites in nearby Gateshead have been fitted with the 

UK’s second largest open loop ground source heat pump system capable of producing 

up to four megawatts of heat. 

All warehousing owned by our business undergoes ongoing maintenance. Each site 

has been completely refurbished including exterior cladding, new roofs, new electricity 

and plumbing systems, and enhanced security to bring each property in-line with 

HMRC requirements for bonded facilities. 

We’ve invested in an innovative Joloda system, the first of its kind in the UK wine 

market. Installed across all Lanchester Wines sites, we can load 24 pallets onto a 

waiting truck in just 85 seconds, compared to around 35 minutes for traditional loading 

systems. As you can imagine, this system radically reduces driver downtime and 

increases efficiencies.

Lanchester Wines fulfils its contract wine bottling through Greencroft Bottling Company 

Greencroft Bottling is one of the largest contract wine bottlers in the UK, working with some 

of the world’s leading wine companies. It prides itself on outstanding quality and attention to 

detail, and is rated BRC Grade AA+. 

At its site in County Durham, Greencroft Bottling operates five large, state of the art bottling 

lines which run 24 hours a day, five days a week filling up to 90,000 bottles and boxes of 

wine per hour. Through ongoing investment in machinery, without which the business could 

not function, Greencroft Bottling has built a reputation for unsurpassed quality, efficiency and 

excellence. 

Its new Bag-in-Box line goes from strength to strength filling many millions of litres over the last 

12 months and a new combination packer (the company’s third) ensures its can offer customers 

products in multiple formats including various sizes of glass, PET, Bag in Box, Key Keg and 

more. 

Lanchester Wines and Greencroft Bottling are sister companies under common ownership, 

both of which run autonomously. This maintains the integrity of Greencroft Bottling as a leading 

wine and spirit packing facility. 

Both companies ensure their operations are as environmentally sustainable as possible 

through access to the Lanchester Group of companies’ continued investment in renewable 

energy and heat generation. Greencroft Bottling is the only UK contract wine which can say it

Terms of Trading 

Lanchester Wine Cellars Ltd, trading as Lanchester Wines 

1. Payment of Account 

Payment must be made before the 15th of the month 

following the date on the Invoice. All payments to be 

addressed to Lanchester Wine Cellars Ltd. 

2. Overdue Accounts 

Accounts overdue will be charged at 4% interest per 

month after warning in writing has been given. Any 

represented cheques will be charged at £10.00 per 

presentation. 

4. Claims 

All goods must be examined on delivery and signed 

for and any damages or partial losses noted against 

such signature. Claims for loss or breakage to 

be telephoned to us on the day of delivery and 

confirmed in writing to ourselves within three days of 

the receipt of the goods. 

FAILURE TO OBSERVE THE ABOVE METHOD 

WILL RESULT IN CLAIMS BEING DISALLOWED 

BY THE CARRIERS AND OURSELVES. 

3. Title 

Notwithstanding deliver and the passing of the risk in 

the Goods or any other provision of these Conditions 

the property in the Goods shall not pass to the Buyer 

until the Seller has received in cash or cleared funds 

payment in full of the price of the goods and all other 

goods agreed to be sold by the Seller to the Buyer 

for which payment is then due. 

Until such time as the property in the Goods passes 

to the Buyer the Buyer shall hold the Goods as 

Sellers fiduciary Agent and Bailee and shall keep the 

Goods separate from those of the Buyer and third 

parties and properly stored protected and insured 

and identified as the Sellers property. 

5. Prices 

Prices shown on sales invoices are strictly net and 

include any authorised discounts. 

6. Credit Accounts 

No credit will be given until a Credit Account has 

been sanctioned so goods will only be supplied on a 

proforma invoice. 

7. Credit Facilities 

The Company reserves the right to suspend credit 

facilities any time and all invoices will become due 

immediately. 

Until that time the Buyer shall be entitled to re-sell for 

the proceeds of the sale or otherwise of the goods, 

whether tangible or intangible, including insurance 

proceeds, and shall keep such proceeds separate 

from any monies or property of the Buyer and third 

parties and, in the case of tangible proceeds, 

properly stored, protected and insured. 

Until such time as the property and the goods 

passes to the buyer (and provided the goods are still 

in existence and have not been re-sold) the seller 

shall be entitled at any time to require the Buyer to 

deliver up the Goods to the Seller and if the Buyer 

fails to do so, forthwith to enter upon any premises 

of the Buyer or any third party where the Goods are 

stored and repossess the Goods. 

8. Value Added Tax 

All prices quoted are Exclusive of Value Added Tax. 

9. Minimum Free Delivery 

Five cases locally / 20 cases nationally (9 Litre), 

otherwise a surcharge will be applied to invoice. 

10. Vintages 

Every effort will be made to supply vintages as 

listed, but substitutions will be made when stocks are 

exhausted.
