LEAD OPERATOR
Siouxland Energy Cooperative has an immediate opening for a
Lead Operator. The successful candidate will uphold maximum
production and quality standards while maintaining a positive
teamwork environment to ensure steady state operation. The
position will assume the responsibility of both the operation of the
facility as well as the production staff for the duration of this 12 hour
shift. This position will work closely with the Production Supervisor
and Production Manager in an effort to reach production goals and
requirements. 3-5 years prior ethanol plant experience required.
Individual must be hard working and self-motivated.
Individuals must manage confined space, climb ladders and
steps, and lift up to 60 pounds. We offer on-the-job training and
excellent benefit program.

This position requires attention to detail, exceptional
interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Must be proficient in all MS Office programs with
advanced skills in Excel, a degree in Accounting, Finance
or relevant discipline with a minimum of three or more
years experience in Financial management, management
reporting, planning, budgeting and forecasting.

TRANS OVA IS LOOKING FOR A
THIRD SHIFT LAB
TECHNICIAN
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all 3rd Shift semen laboratory activities, including:
• Operates semen sexing machines.
• Performs semen freezing after semen is sorted.
• Assist in the handling and pulling of semen needed for all IVF
fertilizations
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 or 4 year Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry or other life sciences
degree preferred but not required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a freezing environment (40 °F) for short periods of
time (up to 30 minutes).
• Indoor lab environment.
OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Prior semen processing/handling and lab experience preferred but
not required.
