In pursurance of an order of sale in the above entitled action, I will offer for sale<br />

at public auction, at the door of the courthouse in London, Ohio. The above<br />

named property was appraised at $74,500.00 and cannot be sold for less than<br />

two-thirds of that amount on Friday, 15th day of February, <strong>2019</strong>, at 10:00 o’clock<br />

a.m. If no bids at that time, the property will be offered up again on Friday, 1st<br />

day of March, <strong>2019</strong>. There will be no minimum bid for the second sale. Any<br />

additional costs and taxes owed for the action that are not covered by the sale,<br />

will be collected within 30 days of the confirmation from the purchaser. However,<br />

the Plaintiff has the right to redeem the property within 14 days of the sale by<br />

paying the full purchase price to the clerk of courts, and will be considered the<br />

NOTICE FOR BIDS<br />

Notice is hereby given that bids will be received at the office of the <strong>Madison</strong> County<br />

Commissioners, 1 North Main Street, London, Ohio, 43140, on Tuesday, February 5,<br />

<strong>2019</strong> at 11:00 A.M., Ohio Standard Time for the purpose of furnishing commercially<br />

produced STONE AND GRAVEL (<strong>2019</strong> Stone and Gravel) of various sizes required for<br />

the general construction and maintenance of <strong>Madison</strong> County Roads during the year<br />

<strong>2019</strong> according to specifications on file in the <strong>Madison</strong> County Commissioners’ Office.<br />

The bids will be opened and read aloud immediately thereafter at the same date, time,<br />

and location.<br />

Bids shall be submitted on forms furnished by the <strong>Madison</strong> County Engineer in a sealed<br />

envelope marked “<strong>2019</strong> STONE AND GRAVEL” on the outside. Sealed bids shall be<br />

submitted to the <strong>Madison</strong> County Commissioners’ Office at the address listed above.<br />

Bid packets may be obtained from the <strong>Madison</strong> County Engineer, 825 US 42 NE,<br />

The Village will receive sealed bids for the Fellows Avenue and Walnut Street Improvements project. The<br />

Bids will be received at the Village of West Jefferson, Public Service Department, 28 East Main Street,<br />

West Jefferson, Ohio 43162, until 10:00 a.m., local time, Wednesday, February 6, <strong>2019</strong>.<br />

The proposed project consists of rehabilitating and/or reconstructing the existing deteriorating streets<br />

and curbs along the project route. The project will include new curb and sidewalk along Fellow Avenue<br />

and new integral curb and sidewalks along most of Walnut Street and new ADA accessible ramps at all<br />

intersections along the route. Full depth pavement reconstruction is included for approximately 400<br />

centerline feet along Fellows Avenue and partial full depth pavement reconstruction along parts of Walnut<br />

Street. A mill and fill with a fibermat material between the newly exposed existing asphalt concrete base<br />

and proposed asphalt leveling and surface course will be installed throughout the entire project.<br />

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately upon closing of the receipt of bids at the<br />

Village office.<br />

Bids will be based on unit prices.<br />

Bidding Documents will be available after 12:00 p.m. on Monday, <strong>January</strong> 14, <strong>2019</strong> for a period of 22<br />

calendar days.<br />

at the office of: Village of West Jefferson, Public Service Department, 28 East Main Street, West Jefferson,<br />

Ohio 43162.<br />

Bidders may also review documents at ARC Document Solutions, 1159 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215<br />

or purchase a set for a non-refundable deposit of $40.00 per set, payable to ARC. Cost for shipping is<br />

additional.<br />

Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in an amount equal to 5% of the contract sum, and payable to the<br />

Village of West Jefferson will be required of all Bidders.<br />

Performance Bond and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the Contract, will be required of the bidder<br />

awarded the Contract. A two-year Maintenance Bond will be required from a period beginning upon<br />

completion of the Contract work.<br />

Bidders must comply with the regulatory and licensing requirements of the State of Ohio.<br />

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of bids.<br />

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in any bid,<br />

and to award in the best interest of the Village.<br />
