Dordt College is seeking an enthusiastic and organized<br />

individual to develop and organize a robust camp<br />

experience for children of alumni and other prospective<br />

students.<br />

This individual will work with others to plan for courses<br />

and activities for the summer DDD camp (late June).<br />

Other duties will include coordinating rooms and meal<br />

plans, hiring residential camp leaders to staff the dorms,<br />

monitoring the budget, and working with Marketing and<br />

IT to develop and distribute materials related to the<br />

event and registration.<br />

This is a part-time, flexible position, geared for<br />

approximately 500 hours per year (25% of full-time).<br />

Lead Operator. The successful candidate will uphold maximum<br />

production and quality standards while maintaining a positive<br />

teamwork environment to ensure steady state operation. The<br />

position will assume the responsibility of both the operation of the<br />

facility as well as the production staff for the duration of this 12 hour<br />

shift. This position will work closely with the Production Supervisor<br />

and Production Manager in an effort to reach production goals and<br />

requirements. 3-5 years prior ethanol plant experience required.<br />

Individual must be hard working and self-motivated.<br />

Individuals must manage confined space, climb ladders and<br />

steps, and lift up to 60 pounds. We offer on-the-job training and<br />

On Saturday, November 24 John, owner of Glens Electric, was finishing up at the shop<br />

and cleaning out the back of his boom truck when he had some items in his hand and<br />

was going down the back end of truck when some how he lost his balance or stepped<br />

wrong ( even though he has done it hundreds of times) and fell to the ground onto his<br />

right hip. He was in immediate pain and was transferred to Avera in Sioux Falls by<br />

ambulance. John had broken several bones then had a surgery on his pelvis and during<br />

surgery had heart problems. In the near future will need another heart surgery. As John<br />

has been unable and will be unable to work for an extended time to come his community,<br />

fire department, EMS squad and fellow church members are having a benefit to help him<br />

and his family. We welcome everyone to come and spend the evening with them.<br />
