On Saturday, November 24 John, owner of Glens Electric, was finishing up at the shop 

and cleaning out the back of his boom truck when he had some items in his hand and 

was going down the back end of truck when some how he lost his balance or stepped 

wrong ( even though he has done it hundreds of times) and fell to the ground onto his 

right hip. He was in immediate pain and was transferred to Avera in Sioux Falls by 

ambulance. John had broken several bones then had a surgery on his pelvis and during 

surgery had heart problems. In the near future will need another heart surgery. As John 

has been unable and will be unable to work for an extended time to come his community, 

fire department, EMS squad and fellow church members are having a benefit to help him 

and his family. We welcome everyone to come and spend the evening with them.
