2019 Economic Outlook Seminar
The Montana Bureau of Business and Economic Research economists will
present their national, state, and local economic forecasts for 2019 this
Friday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hilton Garden Inn. How will
tourism, health care, real estate, housing, agriculture, and manufacturing
industries change in the coming year? Attend the seminar to find out!
WINTER BREWFEST
The Missoula Downtown
Association and TrailWest Bank
have teamed up for their 9th
Annual Winter Brewfest this
Saturday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm
at Caras Park! Entrance is $20 and
gets you a commemorative glass
and 5 tokens to sample some of
the regions finest brews. Over 30
Montana breweries (and our local
food trucks) will be there!
FIELD TRIP
Five Valleys Audobon Society will
host a field trip to the Deer
Lodge Valley this Saturday
starting at 7:50 am. Take an allday
trip to look for wintering
birds in the valley! The group will
meet at the Adams Center
Parking Lot. There is no charge

Burns Street Bistro and Montgomery
Distillery are teaming up to host the
7th Annual Robert Burns Supper this
Friday at 6:00 pm at the Missoula
Community Theater. Enjoy a night of
pipes, dancing by the Missoula
Highland Dancers, poetry readings,
and four courses of Scottish fare
alongside two pours of Montgomery
Distillery's 5 year Single Malt, all for

BACKCOUNTRY FILM FESTIVAL
Head to the Wilma this Friday at 7:00 pm for the 14th Annual Winter
Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival! All proceeds benefit the
Montana Backcountry Alliance -- a statewide group formed to represent
backcountry ski, snowboard, and snowshoe community in land
management policy decisions across the state.
FLOWER MASK WORKSHOP
Western Cider's Wassail Celebration will be held on February 9th. Get ready
for the event by creating your own flower mask this Sunday from 2:00 pm
to 4:00 pm. Create a flower mask out of winter foliage and dried flowers in
a workshop led by Adelaide Every of Farm Hand Farm and Aimee Miklovic
of Full Bushel Farm, then bring it with you to the celebration on the 9th!
FORESTERS' BALL
The 102nd Forester's Ball will be held Friday and Saturday from 7:00 pm to
12:00 am at the Schreiber Gym at the University of Montana! Enjoy music
from Cash for Junkers at the event! All proceeds go to creating scholarships
for students who put in at least 80 hours of work. The Ball is organized and
run by students!
LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY
Register in advance at glaciericerink.com to learn to play hockey this
Saturday at 8:45 am! The event is open to kids aged four and older.
Admission is $65 and includes rental equipment and the lesson!
GROUNDHOG DAY MARATHON
Is it that time of year already?! Groundhog Day is this Saturday, and the Roxy
Theater is celebrating with an all-day Groundhog Day Movie Marathon. In
this iconic classic, Phil Connors repeats the same day over and over until he
finally learns a valuable lesson. If you make it through the whole day, you
will receive a free t-shirt and free admission and popcorn at the Roxy for a
year!
