COCOON DAYBED
After the established success of the Cocoon collection, which we marketed in a refreshing
and innovative version in 2018, the logical expansion now follows with the motto: “bigger
is better”. The Cocoon Daybed has an impressive diameter of no less than 220 cm and is
covered with beautiful, green lounge pillows. The gigantic size can easily fit two people.
Despite its size, the Daybed remains surprisingly easy to move around thanks to the woven
sisal rope.

COCOON DINING
The Cocoon collection has been expanded with the addition of a dining armchair.
Designer Sako Wijma has designed a surprisingly sleek and prominently shaped chair,
which beautifully shows the typical round Cocoon designs. The robust character was given
an additional accent with the sturdy, aluminium backrest which flows into the armrests.
The 20 mm thick Mocca weave is, thanks to the latest braiding techniques, cleverly woven
into the aluminium armrest. The Cocoon dining armchair comes with a Premium weather
resistant seat cushion.

CRETE
This Crete looks like a block of concrete! Actually, that’s what it is, but then lightweight, made of
LWC – light weight concrete. The block is placed on a SVLK teak base and is finished with a nice
hammer finish coat. Crete is available in different sizes, so that there is a suitable table for every
lounge set. A combination of several tables also gives a beautiful effect.

COCOON LOUNGE
The 20 mm-thick wire is woven tightly around the aluminium frame by hand and with great care. Apple
Bee has acquired this sophisticated braiding technique through years of experience and working with
the most skilled braiding experts. The designer wants to give the idea of braided rattan sticks with
the new wicker thread. The braided sisal rope not only gives the Cocoon its unique character, but it
makes it also very easy to move the furniture around. Cocoon is literally and figuratively the evergreen
of Apple Bee!

inspired by our successful Oxford table and executed in a new, contemporary version. The attractive
teak wood has a long tradition in garden furniture and looks good combined with sturdy concrete.

Apple Bee - Teak shield
Apple Bee Teak Shield slows the growth of algae and fungi and helps to maintain teak’s silvergrey
color for a long period of time, without getting green deposits. We recommend treating teak with
Apple Bee Teak Shield at least once a year. Tabletops should be treated more often, depending on
the frequency of use. Extreme green deposit can occur under some conditions, such as exposure
to long periods of damp. In this case, it is advisable to apply Apple Bee Teak Shield twice a year.

BEE WETT® range consists of special weather-resistant cushions that you can simply leave outside. The removable
cover is made of the best possible materials, which are all washable. As well as being waterproof,
the material is also guaranteed to be UV-resistant. Unlike normal foam, the unique BEE WETT filling does not
absorb moisture. The open fabric structure on the bottom of the cushion drains all moisture perfectly. This
ensures that your BEE WETT cushion dries incredibly quick compared to other cushions. The Bee Wett cushion
is upholstered with a Olefin material that is resistant to rot and fungus, but is also UV-proof, soft, comfortable
and damp-proof. The premium line features Bee Wett® technology on the cushions, which ensures that the
cushions dry quickly after heavy rain. So, you can simply leave the cushions outside.
Care
For many years we have been supplying Apple Bee furniture together with the highest-quality,
care-friendly BEE WETT® cushions. One of the surest ways to extend the
life of these attractive cushions is to maintain the fabric correctly. This can be done
simply by brushing off dirt before it becomes embedded in the fabric fibres and to
immediately remove spilled liquids and other substances. Do not use any caustic
cleaning agents or chlorine. You can leave the cushion covers to soak in a soap and

come with a matching dining combination. Designer Sako Wijma started to work on this
and the Milou dining armchair and matching table are the wonderful result. The authentic

The Milou’s weave thread has the appearance of willow branches. True to nature, but in the wellknown
solid Biculair® outdoor quality you’re used to from Apple Bee. This wickerwork is framed
with a black powder-coated frame with curved lines, from which Milou derives her chic, modern
look. The frame is traditionally hidden underneath the wickerwork. For the Milou, designer Sako
Wijma has framed the wickerwork as it were in the frame, so visibly processed. This makes the
furniture extra exciting. Because of its friendly size Milou is also suitable for a balcony or a smaller

CONCRETE (LWC)
Light weight concrete (light weight cement) is a so-called
fibre cement board, which is also used for facade panels.
Both the inside and outside of the concrete table tops
are made of compressed cement fibres in combination
with glue and magnesium. The magnesium ensures that
the material is lightweight but remains extremely strong.
Many producers of concrete table tops use stone, aluminium
or glass fibres as a core material, covered with
a cement mixture. Unlike Apple Bee’s light weight concrete,
this means that the material can crack quickly.
Apple Bee’s light weight excludes this phenomenon.
PEBBLE BEACH CONCRETE

Our garden furniture is covered by a 3 year warranty, which extends to material and manufacturing defects, under normal
usage. The warranty excludes:

Concept Shop-in-shop
A joint success. That is the thought behind the shop-in-shop module(s) of Apple Bee. A few pilots with our dealers
have shown that an Apple Bee shop-in-shop module increases the turnover time of the placed collections, and so
your Apple Bee sales increase as well. From now on, it will be possible for all our dealers to have an Apple Bee shopin-shop
at their selling points.
You can participate in the Apple Bee shop-in-shop concept if
• You are an Apple Bee dealer.
• You enter into a contract with Apple Bee for a minimum period of 3 years.
• You have a minimum of 4 Apple Bee collections on your shop floor and you
will maintain them during the runtime of the contract.
In consultation with your account manager, the number of shop-in-shop modules, the execution of them, and the
location in your shop will be established. The costs for the shop-in-shop concept will be billed immediately after
placement. This invoice must be paid by you at that time. You will be able to at least earn back this investment by
means of a discount percentage on the future Apple Bee sales realised with the collections placed on the shop floor.
Apple Bee develops new collections every year. In consultation with your account manager, you can add or exchange
new collections as long as the minimum number of Apple Bee collections (as agreed in the contract) is maintained on
