Welcome
We would like to welcome you to ACE’s European CEO Conference 2010.
This is the first European CEO conference that ACE has held. Its aim is to bring
together leading industry figures to discuss the key strategic issues facing your
business and your sector.
The conference is part of ACE’s benchmarking programme. The conference
gives us the opportunity to discuss its findings in depth. We are also pleased to
have such a diverse range of speakers participating in this flagship event.
Tomorrow you will hear our overview of the benchmarking report with some
detail of how the industry is shaping up. This will provide you with valuable
insight into how your company fits within that.
Today we will focus on the impact of mergers and acquisitions, the lessons
learned from the credit crunch and trends in leadership.
We have an impressive selection of speakers over the two days and we hope
you will share your insight too.
We both look forward to talking with you throughout the conference and
hopefully at ACE’s Parliamentary reception tonight.
