• Old <strong>Dubai</strong> - It is sometimes also called Al-Fahidi neighborhood<br />
and was built <strong>in</strong> the late 19th century. It is the home of wealthy<br />
Persian merchants who dealt ma<strong>in</strong>ly <strong>in</strong> pearls and textiles.<br />
• <strong>Dubai</strong> Gold Souk - Tourists and residents alike congregate at<br />

• <strong>Dubai</strong> Museum - <strong>Dubai</strong>'s superior museum is located <strong>in</strong> the Al-Fahidi<br />
Fort, built <strong>in</strong> 1787 to defend <strong>Dubai</strong> Creek. The fort's walls are built out<br />
of traditional coral-blocks and held together with lime.
• Shopp<strong>in</strong>g Malls - Anyone who visits or lives <strong>in</strong> the emirate will tell you that<br />
you cannot miss out on a trip to one of the many malls <strong>in</strong> <strong>Dubai</strong> as it is an<br />
experience <strong>in</strong> itself. Almost all malls are open every day of the week.<br />
