What is one essential you
must have when studying?
One essential I need
when studying are lots of
highlighters. When I study
I highlight all the phrases
that are important. Colors
help me remember things
and when my notebook is
colorful it helps me picture
it in my head.
What do you like to do
when not in school or
studying?
When I am not at school
or studying, I like to practice
sports. I play volleyball,
basketball and softball
so I have plenty of things
to practice. Right now I
am playing basketball so
after school I usually play
around with a basketball.
What is your dream job?
My dream job is a chiropractor.
I think being a
chiropractor would be an
amazing job because I get
to help people feel better
without medication and
don’t get me wrong, the
money is nice, too.
What are some of your
most played songs on your
iPod?
Some of my most played
songs are mostly slow and
sad. I love to jam out to fun
music, but sometimes slow
and soft things with more
meaning are a lot better.
What is one thing people
don’t know about you?
One thing people don’t
know about me is as adventurous
as I may seem, I
am deathly afraid of roller
coasters. You could not pay
me $100 to go on one.
Whom do you look up to
and why?
I look up to Rosa Parks
because in my mind, she
is the bravest person ever
born. No matter what, she
stayed true to herself and
did not let others drag her
down.
What do you keep under
your bed?
I keep a lot of stuff under
my bed, but if I am being
honest, I don’t really know
what is under there. Under
my bed is a great place to
put random things and I
definitely have some random
things down there.
Who is your favorite
teacher and why?
My favorite teacher is
Mrs. Pries because she
makes learning fun.
What’s your favorite class
and why?
My favorite class is gym.
I like gym because you can
compete with your classmates
for fun. It’s awesome
to play your favorite sports
in school.
What’s one thing that
stands out about your
school?
One thing that stands out
about my school is the size.
It is a smaller school so I
get more one-on-one time
with the teachers. It is also
nice to know everyone in
the school.
What extracurricular(s) do
you wish your school had?
I wish my school had extracurriculars
that help with
skills we might need to

know later on in life. Some
fun clubs are cooking, sewing
and one about running
a business.
What’s your morning
routine?
The first thing I do in
the morning is wake up.
This seems simple, but it is
the hardest part of the day.
Then I eat breakfast and realize
that I am running late.
Lastly, I brush my teeth,
wash my face and change
while I am racing the clock.
If you could change one
thing about school what
would it be?
If I could change one
thing about my school,
I would have the classes
shorter so there will be time
for extracurriculars.
What’s your favorite thing
to eat in the cafeteria?
I don’t get hot lunch
because I bring my own
lunch. My favorite thing to
bring is leftovers. I bring a
lot of pasta and my favorite
Chinese take out.
What’s your best memory
from school?
My best memory from
school was the Springfield
trip in seventh grade. My
class and I had so many
amazing memories that
will hopefully last forever.
