Spring has arrived! Here at Primary Times we love this time 

of year; the days are getting longer, the weather is getting 

warmer, the flowers are starting to bloom, and the first baby 

animals are starting to be born. (Also, the kids can start 

playing outside more again which can be very helpful for 

busy parents!) 

In our What’s On Where pages you’ll find loads of amazing 

activities and events to keep the kids busy over the Easter 

break. Many of these are based outside to make the most of 

the warmer weather, including a whole range of Easter egg 

trails to add some festive fun to the holiday! Not to worry if 

your little one prefers the indoors, however, as there are a 

wide range of activities based inside to choose from as well.

browse in our Box Office pages, we’ve got everything!

Morgans -Supporting all 

generations of the Kinross-shire 

Community 

The team at Morgans take great 

pride in being part of and serving 

the Kinross-shire community. So, 

we were delighted to be invited 

to the Kinross Primary School 

“When IGrow Up” careers fayre for 

their P5-P7 pupils. This event was 

coordinated by the World of Work 

(WOW) leadership group to help 

pupils understand the opportunities 

in and skills required for the future 

workplace. 

The fayre was attended by over 

200 pupils and around 16 local 

businesses. Wendy McEwan and 

Sylvia Flynn had athoroughly 

enjoyable afternoon speaking with 

the pupils and answering their 

questions relating to the legal and 

property professions. It was areal 

privilege to play our part in raising

future generation. The energy 

and enthusiasm of the pupils for 

learning made this agreat event to

The team at Morgans enjoyed

property professions. Feedback 

from the event was very positive.

group said “It was good fun and very 

busy”, Isla “It was alot of hard work 

to organise but it went well on the

gave me inspiration about the jobs 

I could do when Igrow up”. We at 

Morgans are already hoping they will

Beach Highland Games return 

to Kirkcaldy, with the Waterfront

been delivering high quality outdoor 

learning ever since we first opened 

our doors in 1967. Our range of 

curriculum linked programmes, expert 

knowledge and quality resources 

will allow your class to discover the 

astonishing landscape and wonderful 

wildlife of athriving nature reserve. 

You can choose from aselection 

of half or full-day curriculum linked 

programmes that will get your class 

exploring the natural world with 

exciting hands-on activities. Led by 

our professional staff, your class will 

learn about life-cycles, adaptations 

and food chains of minibeasts, plants 

and birds. 

We are located on the southern 

shore of Loch Leven, off junction 5

Builders programme. Roll up your

buildings, and the materials and 

skills used to build them. Get to 

grips with stone in our first activity

The Fife Show, Kinloss, Cupar –

Fife Show has plenty for everyone to do 

and see. Kids can become Fife Show 

Explorers, following the Showground 

Trail, finding out about food &farming 

while answering aquiz. Watch the Pony 

Club take part in Mounted Games, the 

Quack Commandos dogs &ducks in the 

Main Ring or visit the Farriers area, to see 

how horseshoes are made and fitted. 

The scarecrow competition for 

primary schools and Home Produce 

section (classes for Under 9yrs/ 

Under 15yrs) allow local children to get 

involved. The Kids Countryside tent 

has stands with activities to take part 

in. Nearby are Rare Breeds animals and 

alpacas. The Photography Competition, 

with prizes from Xtreme Trampoline Park, 

Glenrothes, Kartstart Kirkcaldy and The 

Pitlessie Village Inn, is open to all ages. 

Just take photos at the Show then send 

them to us. 

The Dog &Pet Shows can be entered 

on the day so bring along your two or 

four-legged friend and take part. The 

Game Fair Arena has gundog &birds of 

prey demonstrations, ferret racing, fly 

fishing and gundog scurry while in the 

Main Ring you can see heavy horses, 

the Parade of Champions and Vintage 

Machinery. Cattle, sheep, light horse

The Poultry marquee has classes for
