12 SPRING FUN GUIDE
17 BOX OFFICE
20 COMPETITIONS
Spring has arrived! Here at Primary Times we love this time
of year; the days are getting longer, the weather is getting
warmer, the flowers are starting to bloom, and the first baby
animals are starting to be born. (Also, the kids can start
playing outside more again which can be very helpful for
busy parents!)
In our What’s On Where pages you’ll find loads of amazing
activities and events to keep the kids busy over the Easter
break. Many of these are based outside to make the most of
the warmer weather, including a whole range of Easter egg
trails to add some festive fun to the holiday! Not to worry if
your little one prefers the indoors, however, as there are a
wide range of activities based inside to choose from as well.
There’s also a huge array of family-friendly theatre shows to
browse in our Box Office pages, we’ve got everything!
From everyone here at Primary Times, we hope you have a
wonderful Easter break. We’ll see you again for the Bumper
Summer Issue.
With very best wishes,
Hatch aplan to keep your
family well this Easter
Easter is approaching, which
means you and your family may
already be receiving dozens of
chocolate eggs from friends and
loved ones.
Kirsteen, abusy working
mum of two, understands the
importance of keeping the wee
ones healthy this spring.
Kirsteen is following advice
from NHS Scotland’s ‘Be Healthwise
this Easter’ campaign.
Featuring Dr Owl, the
campaign reminds us how to
keep well over the holiday, and
what to do if you fall ill.
• Check you have enough repeat
prescriptions. Order only what
you need and in plenty of time.
• Know when your GP surgery
and local pharmacy are open
over holiday.
If you, or your child, become
unwell over the Easter holiday
and can’t wait until your GP
surgery opens, call NHS 24 on 111.
Dr Owl’s top tips:
• Have cold and flu remedies at
home.
Morgans -Supporting all
generations of the Kinross-shire
Community
The team at Morgans take great
pride in being part of and serving
the Kinross-shire community. So,
we were delighted to be invited
to the Kinross Primary School
“When IGrow Up” careers fayre for
their P5-P7 pupils. This event was
coordinated by the World of Work
(WOW) leadership group to help
pupils understand the opportunities
in and skills required for the future
workplace.
The fayre was attended by over
200 pupils and around 16 local
businesses. Wendy McEwan and
Sylvia Flynn had athoroughly
enjoyable afternoon speaking with
the pupils and answering their
questions relating to the legal and
property professions. It was areal
privilege to play our part in raising
Kidz Town Role-Play
Stirling, FK7 7PX
awareness of the opportunities
in the World of Work for the
future generation. The energy
and enthusiasm of the pupils for
learning made this agreat event to
be part of.
The team at Morgans enjoyed
helping the pupils to broaden their
understanding of the various roles
and skills required in the legal and
property professions. Feedback
from the event was very positive.
Jessica from the WOW Leadership
group said “It was good fun and very
busy”, Isla “It was alot of hard work
to organise but it went well on the
day”. Gregor (P5) “It was fun, and it
gave me inspiration about the jobs
I could do when Igrow up”. We at
Morgans are already hoping they will
invite us back to their next event!
