Cheltenham Jazz Festival features a Big Top stage,<br />

tomorrow’s stars, plus blues and world music from<br />

local and emerging talent.<br />

Alfresco<br />

This year’s Alfresco is the biggest yet in terms<br />

of big name acts. And while the <strong>2019</strong> event is<br />

spread across four day and three night stages<br />

in the woods, the festival retains its cosy feel.<br />

Electronic music from underground innovators like<br />

Ivan Smagghe and Errol Alkan is paired with hiphop<br />

karaoke, family picnic circles and luxurious<br />

glamping options.<br />

Noisily Festival<br />

Where: Noseley Hall, Leicestershire<br />

With a focus on wellness, education, creativity<br />

and environmentalism, Noisily plays out in the<br />

heart of rural England. Three main stages and<br />

various micro-venues host the music (from d&b<br />

to dub, folk to techno) and there are also talks,<br />

panels, discussions and healing practices in<br />

the Mind Body Soul area. This one is all about<br />

community, making new friendships and exploring<br />

new acts you might not know but will soon love.<br />
