Life After Stroke or Brain Injury
Are you a stroke survivor or have you suffered a brain injury? Would you like to try new
activities? Ferndown Leisure Centre have teamed up with The New Forest Paddle Sport
Company, to offer stand up paddle boarding and kayaking to stroke survivors. Please contact

Do you have a bit of time to spare this summer? Do
you want to protect your local environment? Do you
like being outside in the fresh air?
If so, come and join our friendly group of volunteers
and help Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust control the non-native plant
called Himalayan balsam which is invading riverbanks in the New Forest area.
The plants are easy to pull up and it’s great fun but might be a bit muddy so bring
your wellies!
