Winners of 22nd Century
Media’s third annual North
Shore Choice Awards were
invited to attend a cocktail
party and awards ceremony
Wednesday, March 27, at
Pinstripes in Northbrook.
The honorees feasted on
a variety of hors d’oeuvres
provided by Pinstripes —
who won Best Buffet and
Best Bowling Alley in the
contest — including platters
of housemade bruschetta,
avocado hummus
and garlic hummus, chilled
shrimp cocktail, antipasto,
Italian sliders of meatballs
and chicken parmesan,
burger sliders, crispy
calamari, and cookies and
brownies; margherita,
chicken and avocado club,
and roasted vegetable flatbreads;
and passed appetizers
of fried mozzarella,
stuffed mushrooms, mini
crabcakes and pigs in a
blanket.
Entertainment was provided
by The Actors Gymnasium
and included a juggler
and a magician.
The winner of the $500
BMO Harris Bank Mastercard
gift card was announced
as well. The winner
was Carole Collum, of
Glenview.
The award winners received
a North Shore
Choice Awards plaque
with their business name
engraved on it, window
cling and a photo from the
ceremony of each business
owner or representative.
