TCL C6 RECEIVES ONE OF THE
MOST IMPORTANT DESIGN
PRIZES IN THE WORLD

was awarded the iF Design Award 2018
“The design concept of TCL C6 is to mimic a
cinema screen experience, providing optimal
picture and sound performance in a television.
The front speaker directly transmits sound to the
user, bringing an amazing sound quality to the
product category. The bottom picture frame and
the front of the speaker are integrated,” said iF

IF DESIGN AWARD 2018
A jury of 63 independent experts from 16
countries selected the winners of the if Design
Award 2018, Hamburg in January. The 75 best
entries were honored with the iF Gold Award
2018. In fact, a total of 6,402 entries from 54
countries registered for the competition. This
includes the following disciplines: Product
Design, Communication Design, Packaging
Design, Service Design/UX, Architecture,
Interior Architecture and Professional Concept.
Jury chairman Fritz Frenkler said: “The
number of iF Design Award registrations
has been steadily increasing for years. This
growing interest is primarily the result of
the outstanding communication work by iF
and the dedicated team working with Ralph
Wiegmann, iF CEO. However, it is also due to
the great commitment from the industry in
Asia, especially the Greater China region. It
also shows that many Asian companies have
understood what good design can do for a
business.”
For 65 years, the iF Design Award has
been recognized as an arbiter of quality for
exceptional design. The iF label is popular
worldwide for outstanding design services,
making it the most important design prizes in
the world. n
