The healthy line with an extra service

Contains the best nature has to offer

– for vitality and health

Sensation-Pro and Sensation-Free are the first products of our new Supreme-Line.

They are intended to help avoid feeding errors such as over- or underdosing of nutrients

by simple dosage with one daily feeding ration. At the same time, these products thoroughly

support the protection of the horse’s health – its immune system, stomach & intestines,

muscles, tendons & joints, respiratory tract, hooves, skin & coat – for a longer

and more vital life. Besides essential amino acids in pure form, vitamins, minerals

and trace elements, Sensation contains many valuable natural ingredients like

berries and herbs. Here is an excerpt of the ingredients:

Sensation-Pro

Sensation-Free

Amino acids in pure form

or, to be precise, the essential amino

acids lysine, methionine and threonine

form the basis for muscle development.

Additionally, they promote the healthy

growth of skin and hoof (creatine

formation).

Mannan oligosaccharides

and ß-Glucans

actively support the immune system via

binding and inactivating pathogens and

toxins in the intestinal content. With their

prebiotic effects they help balance the

intestinal flora.

MSM

can reduce inflammatory processes and

helps keep tendons, joints and respiratory

tract healthy and intact.

Chia seeds

Brewer’s yeast

provide a high content of amino acids and protect the intestinal mucosa with mucins

that form when the seeds get in contact with water. The seeds contain omega-3 and

omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. Their antioxidative effects provide protection

against free radicals, whose production is, for instance, increased in stressful situations.

enhances the digestibility of crude fibres and nutrients in order to reduce faulty

fermentation. Brewer’s yeast can bind and inactivate around 70 % of the mycotoxins

in the gut.

Aronia

containing a high level of secondary phytochemicals like polyphenols, aronia berries have a strong

antioxidative and therefore anti-inflammatory capacity. The berries also contain high levels of

folic acid, vitamin K and vitamin C-essential nutrients that strengthen the immune system and the

body’s defences.

Hawthorn berries

Goji berries

their positive influence on the cardiovascular system is well known in

traditional medicine.

contain polysaccharides for a healthy immune system and provide nourishment for the

good bacteria in the digestive tract. With their high content of antioxidants they protect

against free radicals.

Carob

Rose hips

strengthen the immune system, since they are rich in vitamin C.

provides secondary phytochemicals that benefit stomach, gut and respiratory tract.

Carob also stimulates appetite.

Cumin

Linseed-thistle oil

contains secondary phytochemicals and essential oils (e. g. cuminaldehyde) that support

metabolism and digestion.

is rich in anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids. It quickly supplies energy in

concentrated form and contains lots of vitamin E needed for the muscle metabolism.

Milk thistles provide silymarin which protects and detoxifies the liver.

Thyme

Fennel

strengthens the respiratory tract with essential oils and secondary phytochemicals

(flavonoids, monoterpenes, triterpenes, biphenyls) and benefits the gastric mucosa.

benefits stomach and gut with essential oils and secondary phytochemicals (flavonoids,

coumarin) and soothes irritations of the upper respiratory tract.

Camomile

contains essential oils and secondary phytochemicals (flavonoids, glycosides, triterpenes,

coumarin) that strengthen stomach and gut.

The health feed for best performance

The innovative, powerful muesli for six important aspects of equine health

• strengthened immune system • healthy tendons & joints

• healthy stomach & intestines • strong respiratory tract

• strong muscles

• strong hooves, skin & coat

marstall Sensation-Pro is a new type of feed for horses with a

high performance level in tournaments and training. As a cerealbased

sport muesli it provides lots of energy, while being gentle

on stomach and digestion due to its comparably low content of

starch. It optimally covers the need for vitamins and minerals,

while dispensing with molasses as flavour carriers. Sensation-Pro

supports the protection of the horse’s health – its immune system,

stomach & intestines, muscles, tendons & joints, respiratory tract,

hooves, skin & coat – for a long and active life.

A single serving per day ensures

optimum supply for your horse.

The fact that for many horse owners combining concentrates and

feed supplements without proper advice is not an easy task may

result in overdosing or underdosing individual ingredients.

marstall Sensation-Pro helps to avoid both: Daily servings cannot

lead to an oversupply with nutrients. On the other hand, feeding

Sensation-Pro to healthy horses on a daily basis can counteract

undersupply, thus providing vitality, strengthening the horse’s

health and helping to secure a long life.

Supplementary feed for horses

Hydrothermally macerated cereal flakes secure optimum

digestibility in the small intestine, while essential amino acids in

pure form support muscle building and growth of hoof and coat.

High levels of vitamin E and selenium ideally suit the needs of

active horses. Brewer’s yeast enhances the digestibility of crude

fibres and nutrients. Mannan oligosaccharides and ß-Glucans

benefit the intestinal flora and support the immune system.

The nutrient-rich berries and herbs contained in Sensation-Pro

provide additional health benefits: Chia seeds contain valuable

unsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6) and protect the

intestinal mucosa with mucins. The secondary phytochemicals

contained in aronia have antioxidative and anti-inflammatory

effects. Goji berries provide polysaccharides and nourish

important gut bacteria. Rose hips are rich in vitamin C. Essential

oils from fennel, thyme and camomile soothe the intestines and

the respiratory tract.

For an additional portion of energy, Sensation-Pro can be combined with

non-mineralized energy providers like oats, maize flakes, barley flakes or oil.

Example of a daily ration for a horse

… adding energy to the daily ration (550 kg bodyweight)

9 kg hay + 1 kg Sensation-Pro + 1.5 kg oats + 150 ml linseed-thistle oil

… optimizing the existing ration (550 kg bodyweight)

8 kg hay + 1 kg oats + 1 kg Sensation-Pro, depending on ration and

demand. Ration calculation is recommended.

Feeding instructions

Due to the fact that the supplementary feed Sensation-Pro contains

larger amounts of trace elements and vitamin D3 than complete feed,

it must be fed according to the recommendations given above. Please

do not administer additional supplements containing minerals, trace

elements or vitamins, unless having carried out a ration calculation. Our

recommendations are based on a roughage (hay) portion of at least 1.5

kg per 100 kg bodyweight and day.

The grain-free health feed

The innovative, grain-free muesli for six important aspects of equine health

• strengthened immune system • healthy tendons & joints

• healthy stomach & intestines • strong respiratory tract

• strong muscles

• strong hooves, skin & coat

marstall Sensation-Free is a grain-free feed for horses doing light

or no work. It is also geared to horses with metabolic disorders

necessitating a diet that is low in sugar and starch. Despite being

free of grain, Sensation-Free has a high level of raw proteins that

can be absorbed in the small intestine. The need for vitamins and

minerals is also optimally covered. Sensation-Free supports the

protection of the horse’s health – its immune system, stomach &

intestines, muscles, tendons & joints, respiratory tract, hooves,

skin & coat – for a long and active life.

One serving per day ensures

optimum supply for your horse.

Combining muesli and feed supplements in a way that prevents

over- or undersupply with individual nutrients requires knowhow

and advice. Many owners of leisure horses reach their limits

with this task.

marstall Sensation-Free helps prevent mistakes that arise from

lack of knowledge: Daily servings cannot lead to an oversupply

with nutrients. On the other hand, feeding Sensation-Pro to

healthy horses on a daily basis can counteract undersupply, thus

providing vitality, strengthening the horse’s health and helping

to secure a long life.

Sensation-Free

The grain-free health feed

Sensation-Free, a grain-free muesli that is low in sugar and

starch, is geared to horses with low energy demands and to

horses dependent on a grain-free diet. Due to the large amount

of proteins that can be absorbed in the small intestine, the muesli

is highly utilizable. A small amount of feed is sufficient, which

means that little strain is put on the digestive system. Essential

amino acids in pure form support muscle building and growth of

hoof and coat. High levels of vitamin E and selenium counteract

an undersupply with these nutrients. Brewer’s yeast enhances the

digestibility of crude fibres and nutrients. The berries and herbs

contained in marstall Sensation-Free provide valuable nutrients

and health-enhancing phytochemicals: Essential oils from fennel,

thyme and camomile soothe the intestines and the respiratory

tract. Chia seeds protect the intestinal mucosa with mucins. The

seeds contain valuable omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. The

secondary phytochemicals contained in aronia have antioxidative

and anti-inflammatory effects. Goji berries nourish important gut

bacteria with polysaccharides. Rose hips provide vitamin C for the

immune system. Mannan oligosaccharides and ß-Glucans form

an important immune complex. MSM helps keep tendons, joints

and respiratory tract healthy and intact.

If the horse needs additional energy, Sensation-Free can be

combined with non-mineralized/non-vitaminized concentrated

feeds like oats, barley flakes, maize flakes or oil to roughage.

Horse Data Service

marstall is your partner in appropriate feeding during the entire life of your horse. We are happy to advise you on every question you

have. Having all the relevant information at our disposal is of great advantage to you and to us - it facilitates counselling geared to your

specific needs. Receiving the information prior to your telephone call allows us to be even better prepared. For this purpose we have

implemented our Horse Data Service.

On www.marstall-supreme.eu you can fill in all the information we need to provide you with sound advice. You can upload photos

of your horse and the results of blood tests and hair and hay analyses. Thus, you are providing our team of advisors with all the

information they need for a detailed advice by phone.

Hair Analysis (subsidized)

The long-term supply with copper, zinc, manganese and selenium – trace elements that a vital for a horse’s health – can be determined

by means of hair analysis. Blood tests, on the other hand, provide a snapshot at the given point of time. In order to detect deficiencies

or an oversupply and to be able to counteract the situation in a proper way, we offer and subsidize hair analyses in cooperation with

the LKS Lichtenwalde. On our website www.marstall-supreme.eu we offer further information and the option to order a test kit.

Roughage Analysis (subsidized)

Roughage is the basic feed for every horse. Its quality plays an important role for the horse’s health and forms the basis of the

calculation of the proper ration. As the levels of e.g. energy, utilizable protein, selenium and other minerals show strong fluctuations

depending on soil and weather conditions, experts recommend roughage to be analysed on a regular basis. We offer and subsidize

roughage analyses in cooperation with the LKS Lichtenwalde. On our website www.marstall-supreme.eu we offer further information

and the option to order a test kit.
