Fees and Services
DUES
• Membership Dues (effective 10/01/17)
• New - $40
• Paid prior to March 1 - $40/yr
• Paid after March 1 - $60/yr
• UJSSA (Junior, age 21 and under) Dues
• Annual dues - $15
Include name, flock or ranch name,
address, city, state, zip and phone number.

NOTE NEW FEE CHANGES
Effective March 1, 2019 convenience fees
($1 for transactions =< $25 and 3.5% for transactions
> $25) will be implemented for payments
made via credit card or PayPal.
For accounts 90 days past due, a finance
charge of 1.5% per month will be applied.
Payment methods include check, credit
card (call the office) or PayPal (link on the
USSA website).
Why Foundation
Donations?
The United Suffolk Sheep Association
would like to express thanks to those members
who have in the past, donated to our National
Suffolk Foundation. Many of you include a few

dollars with each work order and that is certainly
welcome and appreciated. We welcome
any size donation. Foundation donations are
included on the fee list. To donate you need
only indicate the amount and include it with
payment. It will be listed on your invoice for
your tax records.
We fear that perhaps many are not aware
of how these funds are utilized. It was determined
some time ago, that these funds would
all go to the USSA Scholarship Fund.
Each year, at Louisville, we award at least
two scholarships to deserving young Suffolk
breeders. We don’t want this to be a best kept
secret, but want to get the word out to all of our
members. It has been announced from time to
time, but we want to bring it to your attention
once more, that these donations are most
appreciated and can do a tremendous amount
of good. Thank you for your consideration of
supporting this fund!
USSA Percentage
Program
PURPOSE: Enables members of USSA to
identify and maintain records on their nonpurebred
replacement seed stock and wethers.
RULES AND REGULATIONS*
1. In order to record an animal in the USSA
Percentage Registration Program, you
must be a member in good standing of
USSA or UJSSA.
2. At least one parent must be registered in
the USSA Purebred Registry or the USSA
Percentage Registry.
3. Percentage animals must be identified by
permanent positive identification.
4. Animals registered in the USSA
Percentage Registry will receive a
Percentage Certificate of Registration
(printed on green paper).
5. An animal with a percentage registration
number will not be permitted to enter the
purebred flock book nor will any of its
progeny until the 15/16 level of purity is
reached. Once progeny reaches a level of
purity, the registration will be printed on a
Certificate of Registration (printed on
white paper).
*It is helpful if members submit percentage
registrations on the Application for Percentage
Registration (provided in the directory, on the
website or from the office). If you would like to
submit an application to register percentage
sheep and do not have the correct application,
please indicate on the application that the animals
being registered are percentage Suffolks.
