Dear Retail Partners,
On 11 & 12 May we hosted our annual Beauty Weekend with activations throughout the centre
including glam stations hosted by our retail partners, booked-out masterclasses, competitions,
giveaways, and guest appearances from internationally renowned beauty personality James
Charles and Brookelle McKenzie and Cassie Tsao. Approximately 5,000 people turned out
to meet the talent adding to the exciting vibe around Pacific Fair over the two days, crowds
screamed with excitement as they welcomed our beauty influencers. We would like to thank
those retail partners who participated to make the weekend a further success. The event
resulted in extensive media coverage valued at $790,000 across print, digital, radio and
social media coverage on James Charles’ channels.
In May, Pacific Fair is pleased to have hosted James Charles’ world first, Sisters Pop Up store.
The store was located on Level 1, outside David Jones, which stocked Sisters Apparel (James
Charles’ merchandise line) and the Morphe X James Charles Palette and brush set.Previously,
these products have only been available online with expensive shipping costs to Australia.
As part of the store activation, a strong PR plan was implemented to promote the store and it
was also heavily supported on his social media channels which have over 30 million followers
I would like to thank those retail partners who participated in the CenSat survey last month.
We had over 150 retailers share their thoughts with us, so we as a centre could gain a greater
understanding around our services and take on your feedback for further improvement.

Over the weekend of 11 and 12 May, Pacific Fair
transformed into to ultimate beauty haven with appearances
from international beauty bloggers, glam makeovers, pop-up
beauty bars, giveaways and more.
Pacific Fair is proud to have hosted a world-renowned beauty
influencer James Charles back here incentre. Over 5,000
customers visited the centre to meet YouTube beauty sensation
James Charles. James currently has approximately 15 million
followers on both Instagram and YouTube. James conducted
master beauty classes, Q&As and engaged with crowds in
meet and greets in The Resort.
Beauty Weekend alone generated over $790,000 in PR.
The campaign was well received by customers and retail
partners with positive feedback from retailers who provided
offers and activated over the weekend seeing increased sales
and instore traffic.
SISTERS POP UP SHOP
Pacific Fair hosted the world’s first James Charles official Sister’s pop up store on Level 1, in the David Jones Mall from 3 to 17
May. On opening day, we saw hundreds of customers of all ages head to the store to get their hands on James’ Sisters apparel
merchandise and also the Morphe X James Charles Palette and brush set, previously only available online with expensive shipping
fees. The pop up generated extensive social media hype and followed with a PR plan including exposure on James Charles own
social media channels which command a collective following of about 30 million.
& WASTE UPDATE – APRIL
COMPOSITION APRIL 2019
Pacific Fair is committed to increasing our recycling rate and minimising
our impact on the environment. In April, 248.59 tonnes of waste for the
month was generated with 49.4 % able to be recycled. We encourage all
tenants to educate their staff on the options of recycling available at your
nearest loading docks, including clear plastics, cardboard, co-mingle and

The team at Myer have been awarded this honour for
activating 4 glam stations, engaging the crowd with
samples, providing an offer and running an instore
fragrance personalisation activation over Beauty
Weekend. Myer also send in regular content to be
featured on Pacific Fair digital channels.
