The Show is in support of Shooting Star Chase, a heartfelt charity caring for families with a child or teenager with life-limiting conditions. They will be running a Shopping Crèche & Carry Service - so there is no need to be burdened down with all the purchases! Expert advice daily from ‘The Gardening Doctors’, Val & Steve Bradley, along with the enthusiastic environmentalists, Jules & Lance. The show will be joined by knowledgeable key speakers: on Friday Ian Bedford, a research entomologist, will be explaining the best ways of ‘Gardening For Butterflies’, on Saturday Professor Alan Aylward from The Woodland Trust will be ‘Standing Up For Trees’ and on Sunday Ben Cross from Crosslands Nursery will be extolling the ‘British Cut Flower Industry’ It’s not all about gardening. Music is provided by the Jazz Magic Trio and vintage songs by Lianna Haynes. The Studio Shop artisans will be demonstrating their skilled work in a variety of mediums. There will children’s entertainment with juggling, face painting, bouncy fun, toddler funfair and puppet shows and Huxley birds of prey will fly to the skies ….a great day out for the whole family. It is an excellent time to relax and explore Loseley: the stunning parkland and the incredibly beautiful walled gardens, all included in the Garden Show ticket. There will be a free guided walk on Friday with Loseley’s head gardener explaining the work required to keep the walled gardens in good health and blooming.
