The first half of the year has already past and we have experienced God’s divine<br />
direction, showers of blessings, blessed assurance, more grace and restored<br />
fortunes in every area of our lives. The Word has gone forth that we shall<br />
receive FRESH OIL in this season with power and authority. Be expectant of the<br />
testimonies the to come.<br />
It is our sincere prayer that the LORD God who is a sun and shield will bestow favour and<br />
honour on you. No good thing will He withhold from you as you walk blameless before Him.<br />
May He clothe you with humility toward one another and cause every mountain to become<br />
level ground.<br />

KICC KINGDOM HARVEST KBI CLASS COMPLETION CEREMONY<br />
The KBI Class Completion Ceremony was held on the 17th March 2019 during Sunday service. The Resident Minister<br />
awarded certificates to students who had successfully completed Baptismal classes, Members classes or Workers classes. It<br />
was a wonderful day celebrating the completion of the fourth round of KBI classes held at KICC Kingdom Harvest.<br />
KICC KINGDOM HARVEST EVANGELICAL OUTREACH<br />
The Evangelical Outreach event was held at Basildon Town Centre on the 30th March 2019. The event was open to all in<br />
the community. The event saw us proclaiming the Gospel and ministering in songs to members of the community. During<br />
the event we also offered items of clothing and footwear that individuals were able to take freely. It was a glorious day<br />
proclaiming the gospel.<br />

FATHER2FATHER MINISTRY HONOURED AT<br />
NATIONAL MENTORING AWARDS<br />
In a bid to increase the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible<br />
fathers, KICC The Lighthouse Resident minister Pastor Trevlyn Shillingford and<br />
Courtney Brown, of the branch’s men’s ministry, set up Father2Father. The<br />
organisation won an award at the prestigious National Mentoring Awards in<br />
honour of its work of supporting and providing adolescent boys, fathers and their<br />
families with mentorship, information, advice and guidance.<br />
Courtney said “Young black males are often associated with ‘underperformance’<br />
in the context of education and academic achievement. Yet despite these<br />
challenges, the young black men on this programme are working to overcome<br />
negative school experiences, see possibilities for their future and seek to<br />
transform school ‘failure’ into personal and educational ‘success.’ “We have<br />
seen amazing and improvements in the mentees behavior, in school, at home<br />
and their confident and determination to succeed has also risen,” said Pastor<br />
Trevlyn. “A huge thanks to the men at KICC The Lighthouse that make reaching<br />
our lost boys and young men possible.”<br />

In March, KICC The Lighthouse congregation met full force in prayer to bring down the difficult walls in their lives.<br />

The KICC Royals Bristol hosted their annual open mic night in honour of Valentine’s Day. The theme of the night was<br />
“Abiding Love” featuring poetry, live music and a message on the abiding love of God.<br />

The ROYALS Takeover Service in February was themed G.O.A.L.S (Godly Objectives Assure Lasting Success).<br />

The Evangelical outreach was held in Basildon town centre where members proclaimed the Gospel and offered FREE<br />
clothing to the local community resulting in one adult giving their life to Christ.<br />

TESTIMONIES<br />
We run a chain of childcare<br />
properties and one in<br />
particular had been rented<br />
for the last 7 years. The<br />
owners decided they wanted to sell the<br />
property for £1.2 million. My husband<br />
said “It’s over 1 million, therefore, we will<br />
not buy the property.”<br />
During services I would cry out to God<br />
knowing that Pastor Matthew had always<br />
told us that he never buys property for the<br />
full asking price. Anytime he made this<br />
statement, I would scream Amen with all<br />
of my strength.<br />
I held on to Philippians 1.6 “And I am<br />
certain that God, who began the good<br />
work within you, will continue his work<br />
until it is finally finished on the day when<br />
Christ Jesus returns,” handing the matter<br />
over to God.<br />
The owner had a lot of interest from<br />
prospective buyers and developers but<br />
God knew best. My husband and I<br />
brought the property for £372,000 less<br />
than half the asking price.<br />

KICC Prayer City ME5 9QG<br />
On Tuesday 15th January, I went<br />
to St Bartholomew’s hospital<br />
for some tests. When I arrived,<br />
I was informed that I had been<br />
asked to attend the appointment because<br />
they had found something on my left<br />
breast in a previous test.<br />
They began a new series of tests including<br />
a vacuum breast biopsy. The doctor<br />
informed me that once other doctors<br />
had been consulted a final result would<br />
be given. At that point I said to the Lord<br />
“I believe that the result will be for the<br />
glory of Your name and I will testify.” I<br />
was given a results appointment for 24th<br />
January.<br />
On Tuesday 22nd January during The Rain<br />
service, Pastor Matthew called people<br />
suffering from stomach pain and high<br />
blood pressure to the altar for prayer. I<br />
went forward for high blood pressure and<br />
Pastor Matthew asked everyone at the<br />
altar to place their left hand on their chest<br />
and he prayed. As he prayed saying “I<br />
rebuke the spirit of cancer.” I shouted a<br />
loud Amen, receiving this in Jesus’ name.<br />
On 24th January I attended the hospital<br />
appointment with my son. After 45<br />
minutes of waiting we were called in.<br />
The doctor explained the results and<br />
concluded “There is nothing to worry<br />
about. You do not have cancer.” I asked if<br />
she could repeat what she said. She did<br />
saying, “You don’t have cancer.” I shouted<br />
out “Thank you God! You are Jehovah on<br />
time.” I would also like to thank Pastor<br />
Matthew for the prayer at The Rain, Pastor<br />
Yemisi and Pastor Dipo. To God Almighty<br />
be all the Glory.<br />
