and challenging world, with regained
convicon of self-confidence.
The raison d’etre —
to bring out the hidden talent
in the young generaon,
making it fundamentally
stronger and more compeve,
thereby paving a way
for a prosperous naon
— for, the future lies in the hands
of the young generaon.
Our Goal and Commitment
To remain a leader in providing
professional service in Tesng &
Assessment.
We believe, everything we do, must be
based on :
— Strengthening fundamental principles.
— Development and growth of,
involvement with and recognion of,
students’ achievements.
— Quality services to students, parents,
educaonal instuons and schools.
About Unified Council
About Nineteen years ago, seeing the
plight of the quality of educaon imparted
to the young generaon, a desire to
improve their ‘learning’ set a few likeminded
persons to form Unified Council.
Since then, we and our dedicated
team of educaonal experts at Unified
Council, have been connually reviewing
the changing paerns of pedagogy,
researching its contemporary trends and
accordingly re-devising and upgrading
our programmes to improve and make
easier, ‘learning’ of the young generaon
in order to make it ‘fundamentally strong’,
so that it can take on the ever-changing
Aristotle was asked as to how much the
educated were superior to the uneducated
and he said, “as much as the living are
to the dead”. That is the significance of
educaon, which leads us from darkness
to light. In this world, everything has
its disnct quality; like fragrance is of
flowers, flavour & taste of fruits and light
& heat of the Sun. Similarly, we believe,
Man is also endowed with some inherent
and innate qualies, that can be explored
through educaon.
Educaon must make our people wise
and equipped to understand so as to
solve the problems of our world. That
calls for conceptual clarity and in-depth
knowledge. Today, one can observe a
disturbing trend among students. They
answer quesons without seeking to
understand them. They rarely seek
clarificaons or admit ignorance.
Correcng this state of affairs, needs a
new approach. We must use imaginaon
while seng exam papers, by including
quesons which iniate the thoughtprocess.
We must move from ‘what’ to
‘why’ and from ‘when’ to ‘how’ & ‘why
not’ ! That would elevate students from
‘rote learning’ to ‘understanding’.
The need of the hour is the paradigm
shi from mere ‘remembering’
to ‘understanding & accepng’ to
‘quesoning’ and from ‘reading’ to
‘reflecng’. Students need to understand
the basic concepts and also need to
develop the ‘ability & need to think’,
reflect and enquire. Our programmes are
designed to achieve just that.
Our programmes and services provide
an environment that enables students
to realise their personal potenal and
use it for higher achievements through
quesoning self and those around,
reviewing their own ‘strengths’ &
‘weaknesses’ and taking correcve steps.
Our focus has been on training young
minds through numerous challenging
programmes designed to ence students
to take ideas from concept to compleon.
The common underlying factor of
this wide range of programmes is
the understanding of fundamentals
of educaon, and the percepon
& implementaon of applied tools.
Every structured programme we offer,
emphasises the principles and aspects
of strong fundamentals, while educang
new and easy learning techniques.
We are commied to ‘the right to
quality educaon’ through a widespread
network of dedicated work-force, geared
to reach to students across the country.
The objecve being — if there is a
student, Unified Council must reach out
to him. We advocate the cause of quality
educaon through integrity and social
responsibility.
Aer much debate and discussion,
educaonal experts at Unified Council
design and develop various educaonal
programmes to strengthen students’
skills and culvate their talents to meet
the needs of changing educaonal trends.
These experts, with their originality
and technical excellence, bring the best
pracces of their professions into Unified
Council and enrich its intellectual reserve
and vast pool of skills.
We offer the following tests for classes 1
to 12 :
Naonal Level Science Talent Search
A determined team comprising educa-
numerous schools with resoluon, and
efficient administrave staff, is our unique
strength. The team’s constant efforts
It is grafying to note that with each passing
year, we have seen a rise in students’
parcipaon in our programmes.
We use ultra modern technology such as
Opcal Mark Recognion (OMR) equipment
to evaluate the answer papers
and proficiently assess students’ performance.
In order to compare and weigh one’s performance
beer, we prepare comprehensive
stascal reports such as Individual
School Report (ISR) which disnguishes
the subject-wise performance of a school
in relaon to the overall performance of
other schools naon-wide; the General
School Report (GSR) that provides classwise
response for all quesons, summary
reports, students’ response to difficult
quesons in the form of histograms and
the Student’s Performance Report (SPR)
which gives individual student’s response
for each and every queson and his/her
performance in relaon to other parcipants.
All these reports are helpful for schools as
well as students to understand and assess
their responses beer, thereby learning
about their strong and weak areas. This
exercise of ours has been greatly appreciated
and thanked for, thus making our
endeavour meaningful and grafying.
These reports are the first-of-its-kind in
