Hill was built in 1937 by Frank Hooper, a local<br />

mine owner, for his daughter and son-inlaw<br />

<strong>to</strong> run as a guest house. The charming log<br />

structure was built in <strong>the</strong> classic Adirondack<br />

Camp style. It has kept that charm <strong>to</strong> this day<br />

and walking in<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Loghouse takes you back<br />

<strong>to</strong> more tranquil times. The large fireplace in<br />

<strong>the</strong> guest lounge, made of s<strong>to</strong>ne from Hooper’s<br />

mine, sparkles with nuggets of garnet and invites<br />

visi<strong>to</strong>rs <strong>to</strong> sit back and relax.<br />
