Welcome to the 20th annual 

Winning Women convention! 

We are celebrating 20 years of God’s 

faithfulness, 20 years of His goodness, 

20 years of His glory. God has been so 

good to us and I believe that the best is 

still yet to come. Eye has not seen, ear has 

not heard. The things that God has in store 

for us haven’t even entered into our hearts. 

This year we are preparing ourselves to be ignited. Our foundational 

scripture is Romans 12:11: Keep yourselves fuelled and aflame (The 

Message).

IGNITING YOUR PASSION 

FOR PURPOSE 

Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo 

During our 5 days together I believe that God will ignite us. He will sharpen 

us and He will encourage us. 

It is so important to take time out of the busyness of everyday life and get 

into the presence of God to refuel and recharge. God is waiting to ignite our 

spirits and set us on fire for Him, so that we can go out there and spread 

the fire of His glory. 

This convention will feature something for women of all ages and stages of 

life. This year we are holding our inaugural auxiliary event just for teenage 

girls: TNT Ignite. These young women are our future, so it is vital that we 

sow into their lives. 

I pray that God will touch us this year and do a new thing in all our lives to 

the glory of His name.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS 

Yemisi Ashimolowo 

is the Resident Pastor of KICC and the President of KICC’s Winning Women ministry. Pastor Yemisi oversees the 

spiritual lives of thousands. Her passion and determination to equip people with the necessary knowledge, gifts 

and talents to enable them to reach their potential in Christ continues to drive her to do greater exploits for the Lord. 

As the Head of the Women’s ministry, Pastor Yemisi provides spiritual counsel and empowerment programmes to help 

women be all that God ordained them to be. Those trusting God for a child is an area that is very close to Pastor Yemisi’s 

heart and she runs bi-monthly programmes for couples who are believing God for a miracle in this area. Many great 

testimonies have resulted from this ministry that has brought joy to many couples. 

An accomplished and sought after speaker, Pastor Yemisi’s wisdom and uncompromising delivery of the Word have been a blessing to 

thousands in the UK, Europe, USA and Africa. Often affectionately referred to as a mother of mothers, Pastor Yemisi goes out of her way to 

support and bless both the young and the old alike. Her philanthropic work has seen her tirelessly and sacrificially commit to supporting 

orphanages and other charitable work including providing for the less privileged and needy families. 

Pastor Yemisi is married to KICC Senior Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo and they are blessed with two sons and grandchildren. Her selfless 

support of her husband in his leadership of KICC globally has resulted in this formidable team planting churches in the UK, Ireland, Nigeria, 

Ghana, Namibia, South Africa and Malawi to date and training thousands of leaders and raising champions across the world via TV and radio. 

JASMIN "JAZZ" SCULARK 

is a globally recognized pastor, teacher, evangelist, author and philanthropist. She is also known as the “Daughter 

of Thunder” for the thunderous sound she makes in the Earth that impacts the hearts and minds of all who come 

into contact with her ministry. 

Dr. Jazz is the founder and pastor of Victory Grace Centre, located in Maryland, USA and President of Dr. Jazz Ministries. 

Her ministry reaches to Africa, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, and throughout the United States. 

Dr. Jazz is humbled by the call that God has placed on her life and is passionate about her purpose, which is to encourage, 

educate, equip and empower the world through the spoken and written word. 

Nike Adeyemi 

is an international speaker, coach and minister passionate about love, life and purpose. 

Her vision is to be a voice of love to nations; teaching and demonstrating God’s love to individuals, families, 

organizations and communities. Through her mentorship, many are set on the journey to an amazing life. 

She is the founder of The Real Woman Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria, which offers humanitarian aid, including an 

orphanage and a rehab centre for women. She is also the president of the Real Woman International Inc in Atlanta, USA. 

On her global TV broadcast, Real Woman with Nike Adeyemi, she shares wisdom on various life issues. Pastor Nike cofounded 

Daystar Christian Centre, Lagos with her husband and best friend, Sam Adeyemi. Together they have three amazing children and 

care for many more.

Dolapo Adelakun 

is the associate Pastor of Victory International Church in Ibadan, Nigeria. 

An insightful teacher of God’s Word with simplicity and insight, Pastor Dolapo is dedicated to building lives 

and marriages to the glory of God. 

She is a teacher of God’s Word and a prolific writer. Pastor Dolapo oversees the church’s Palace Pillars ministry, 

a fellowship for women from all walks of life. 

She is married to Bishop Taiwo Adelakun. 

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS 

Funke Felix Adejumo 

is the President of the Funke Felix Adejumo Foundation. 

She is an accomplished pastor and teacher with deep insight into God’s Word. Her unique unction and 

utterance has endowed her to the hearts of millions of people who have listened to her at conferences and 

seminars around the world. Her foundation is dedicated to making worldwide impact with a special call to 

restoring dignity to womanhood and equipping women from all over the world. 

An author of more than 50 books, Pastor Funke has a great passion for womanhood with a divine purpose on 

earth to “Honour God and Bless Humanity”. This vision has transformed into works including the established Grace Orphanage 

and the construction of the Children’s Hospital. 

She is married to Bishop Felix ‘Remi Adejumo and they are blessed with two sons, two daughters, five grandchildren and many 

adopted children. She is the mother of the Agape Family Worldwide. 

Pat Francis 

is described as a dynamic, powerful, spiritual, visionary, an astute business professional and 

humanitarian. She is the Founding Pastor of Kingdom Covenant Ministries, which has a weekly 

attendance of 3,000 in Toronto, Canada. She sits on the Board of several Christian Networks and is a 

member of the Women Presidents Organization, an international network of women with multimillion 

dollar companies. 

In January 2008, Dr. Francis was appointed as a United Nations Representative (NGO) with influence as a 

transformational activist to deal with humanitarian issues and systemic poverty in partnership with world 

leaders. With this appointment her goal is to break systemic poverty as she helps people to create systemic prosperity. Dr. Pat 

travels the world sharing her message of hope as an international conference speaker. 

Her motto "Charity and Enterprise" is backed by her mantra "Prosperity with purpose and wealth creation for His cause.” At the 

end of the day her personal mission, to serve God, serve others and make her world a better place, prevails in everything she 

does. She is an author and TV host with her weekly program "Good News with Pat Francis".

IGNITING YOUR PASSION for YOUR PURPOSE 


Everything in life has a purpose. 

Everyone on this planet was born 

with and for a purpose. Without 

purpose, life is an experiment or 

a haphazard journey that results 

in frustration, disappointment 

and failure. Living with purpose is the difference 

between being busy and being effective. 

You must realize that your fulfilment in life is 

dependent on you becoming and doing what 

you were born to be and do. Purpose is doing 

not a good thing, but the right thing. 

UNDERSTANDING PURPOSE 

No amount of accomplishments can replace 

the power and the motivation of finding your 

own special niche and working towards your 

dreams. 

The primary goal of every person must be 

fulfilling purpose. The only person who can 

stop God from bringing His plans to pass in 

your life, is you. When we cooperate with God, 

nothing can stop His plans from coming to pass 

in our lives. 

YOUR GUIDE TO DISCOVERY 

Nobody knows the purpose of a product except 

the one who made or created it. God is the 

Source of purpose. If we ask Him, the Holy Spirit 

of God will reveal our purpose to us, and that 

purpose will lead and guide us for the rest of 

our lives. 

John 16:13-15 says: 

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will 

guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his 

own; he will speak only what he hears, and he 

will tell you what is yet to come. 

He will bring glory to me by taking from what is 

mine and making it known to you. 

All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is 

why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine 

and make it known to you.

When the Father reveals His purpose for your 

life to you, it may begin as one simple yet 

powerful thought or idea. That thought or idea 

is like a seed, having within itself the entire plan 

(your destiny) of how that purpose will come 

about. 

Through prayer you can ask God to confirm 

beyond a shadow of a doubt that what you are 

receiving is actually His instruction. We need 

to do this because the enemy, the devil, will 

attempt to confuse and distract us – whether 

it be through friends or loved ones who may 

not believe in our dreams; or even introducing 

doubts and fears as thoughts in our minds. 

CHALLENGE 2017 

I want to challenge you to strive to reach your 

full potential and destiny in Christ. 

Don’t become so caught up with the small 

issues of life that you don’t reach and grasp the 

important dreams and opportunities God has 

for you!

BE WILLING TO CHANGE 

There are three things you should know about the 

future: 

1) It is not going to be like the past. 

2) It is not going to be exactly the way we think it’s 

going to be. 

3) The rate of change will be faster than we can 

imagine. 

Isaiah 42:9 KJV: 

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new 

things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you 

of them. 

Take time out and think big! 

STEPS TO IGNITING YOUR PASSION 

DON’T WASTE TOMORROW BY FEEDING ON YOUR 

YESTERDAYS. 

We live in a society of excuses and victims. If we want 

to move forward we need to stop blaming the past for 

our present failures and look forward with the faith 

and victory of Christ! 

Luke 9:62 NIV 

Jesus replied, “No one who puts his hand to the plow 

and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” 

The more you look backward, the less time you have 

to look forward. Of course, we have to learn from the 

past but please invest your time and energies in the 

future. Never, never, never waste another moment of 

your life grieving, worrying or regretting the past that 

Christ has already forgiven you of and forgotten. 

REFUSE TO WALK IN FEAR AND WORRY 

Worry is the misuse of God’s creative imagination and 

powers in our lives. When we worry we are strangling 

the very hope and faith of our future and destiny. 

Do not worry. 

Philippians 4:6-7(NKJV) 

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by 

prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, 

let your requests be made known to God; and 

the peace of God, which surpasses all 

understanding, will guard your hearts and 

minds through Christ Jesus. 

When you face problems: 

A: Ask yourself, “What is the worst thing that 

could possibly happen?” 

B: Prepare to accept the worst. 

C: Try to improve on the worst. 

Get all the facts and weigh them up to 

make the best decision possible based upon 

knowledgeable facts. Once you have made a 

prayerful decision act upon it. 

Don’t worry or fear, take them to Christ for He 

cares for you. 

Psalms 55:22 KJV: 

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall 

sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous 

to be moved. 

Isaiah 42:9 TLB: 

Everything I prophesied came true, and now I will 

prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it 

happens.” 

Always be prepared to change. If you are not 

changing you are not preparing for the future. 

BE COMMITTED 

The key that unlocks the door to success is the key 

of commitment. 

Most frustrated quitters never achieve their potential, 

not because of bad breaks or unusual problems But 

because of a failure to commit themselves to their 

goal regardless of obstacles. 

Commitment lets other people know where you 

stand and lets your heart feel the thrill of pursing 

your objective. Commitment gets you started 

while others stand, and keeps you going while 

others quit. 

Make your life count by embracing and fulfilling your 

destiny. The world is waiting for your manifestation. 

It needs your impact. God already has a plan and a 

purpose for your life – will you arise and occupy your 

place?

the winning women ministry reaches out to meet the needs of its local 

Communities through the following activities 

CARE HOME VISITATION 

Monthly Care Home visits continues by the Care Team. 

They visit the Fort Horstead Nursing Home, in Chatham, Kent, sitting with residents, talking, or 

praying with those who request it. Departmental leader Min Peju Oluyomi said: “During our one 

hour visits we talk and sing hymns and Songs. 

We pray particularly with the residents who do not get visitors. We’ve been visiting this Care 

Home and three others for several years at Christmas time. We hold Carol services 

and distribute gifts to residents and staff. 

Fort Horstead even requested that we visit more regularly to engage with 

residents and we were happy to do so.” 

COOKING FOR THE ELDERLY AND 

HOMELESS 

A 

team 

of 6-7 ladies cook a three course meal on the premises of the Branches 

Homeless Unit in Walthamstow, London each month. The stewards then 

sit, chat and dine with those attending and the staff. Initially started by 

the Winning Women community team, cooking for the elderly and the 

Homeless has grown to become a wider outreach event. 

We also celebrate Christmas with a special meal and give gifts to each homeless person. 

Min Peju Oluyomi says: “KICC funds this project, the stewards purchase the groceries and 

manage the stock and the menu. Some of the team members are professional chefs, so 

all of the other members of each attending team assist the chef and relate to the residents 

and their staff. 

“It’s such a humbling experience and you get to make a tangible difference in the lives of people 

who often feel without hope and ashamed about their current situation. 

We were not able to cook for the residents for two months, whilst their kitchen equipment was 

undergoing required testing and replacement. The residents sent us a message to say how much they 

“missed the monthly freshly cooked meal served with such amazing attitude.” Min Peju added: “We 

continue to collaborate with Basildon Council, 3 course, nutritious meals once a month, for up 70 people 

aged 55 and over.

MY DOUBLE TESTIMONY 

My husband was diagnosed with 

Avascular Necrosis (a result of 

the side effects of using drugs 

for treating kidney 

disease). 

Doctors said he needed 

to have double hip 

replacement 

surgeries. We did 

not believe this 

and sought 

the opinion 

of about 8 

Doctors in all. 

We even 

went to Togo. 

At the time 

we were still 

battling kidney 

disease, which 

started 4 years 

ago. 

The main reason why

we could not accept 

the diagnosis was that we 

just did not have the money. We 

resorted to prayer and during the June 

2017 Fasting and Prayer period, our prayer was 

‘God, please heal us supernaturally, or please God, 

provide the money’. We did not have even one 

tenth of the money the hospital was requesting. 

God miraculously produced the money. 

My husband’s Managing Director saw my 

husband in front of the office lift using a walking 

stick. The M.D. was so traumatized by this sight 

he immediately instructed his bosses to get my 

husband the treatment, no matter how much it 

would cost. The hospital bill was paid for in full, 

even before the surgery was to be done. Praise 

the Lord! 

During this time, we were planning to get a home 

of our own. We found a property and used all our 

savings as a deposit for it. During this time our 

Pastor kept saying that there was so much favor 

waiting to be released. He said: This is a season for 

everything to work out one after the other. I knew 

God would do it but I also felt maybe not just yet. 

We got all the requirements for the mortgage 

ready, beginning with what we 

thought was the most difficult 

and left the easiest for 

last. What we thought 

was the easiest 

turned out to be 

something else. 

We needed 

life cover for 

my husband 

because he 

was the sole 

applicant. 

That was 

w h e n 

something 

that should 

have taken 

a day or two, 

turned into weeks 

and almost a month. 

With each insurance 

company giving one excuse 

after the other because of the 

disclosure of my husband’s condition. 

Some representatives even refused to take my 

phone calls and others did not respond to my 

emails. This was even after it was certified that my 

husband would outlive the length of the policy. 

We had paid for the legal fees and even made 

the deposit to the Developer, we were now faced 

with the stark reality of losing everything. The 

developer was getting impatient. One Sunday, 

Pastor had a message from God for someone. I 

did not really consider myself as that someone. As 

he stood on the pulpit to deliver that message, I 

just kept saying Amen and I decided to sow into 

the word. Unfortunately, I had no money. I looked 

into my bag anyway, just in case, and I found only 

a 1 Ghana Cedi note, I sowed it. As it was so small 

I felt I should put it on the right hand of the altar, 

not in the middle where Pastor stood. Oh but God 

who sees in secret! 

We eventually secured an insurance company - 

one that was rumored to be the most strict in their 

requirements! 

To God be the glory. The Bank has accepted our 

application for a mortgage and we are well on our 

way to greater manifestation. 2 Timothy 2:13NIV. If 

we are faithless, he remains faithful for He cannot 

disown himself. 

KICC GHANA 

Total Restoration 

I 

want 

to testify of the goodness of God in 

my life. A few years ago I experienced a 

fall which resulted in a double fracture in 

my lower leg, breaking both the tibia and 

fibula. 

God miraculously placed three consultants, expert 

in this area, to oversee my hospital care and advise 

the best procedure to get my leg back into place. 

During this time my family and I relied on the 

faithfulness of God, shown through the healing 

testimony of Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo several 

years ago. God restored Pastor Yemisi to complete 

health. This testimony was such a blessing and I 

was able to draw the strength I needed to believe 

God for full restoration. 

After several consultations and X rays, we decided 

to accept the procedure of reconstruction, which 

involved a metal structure with pins being placed 

through and in my bone. It was to be in place for 

several months, followed by a cast for another few 

months.

The operation lasted over six hours, during which 

my family prayed for nothing broken and 

nothing missing. 

After the operation I was advised 

not to bear weight on my leg. 

I was told to use crutches 

or a wheelchair. My family 

and I decided against the 

wheelchair, as we were 

believing God for supernatural 

restoration. 

Three months later the external 

fixator was removed and my leg 

was placed in a cast. I had to learn 

to walk again. This was emotionally, 

physically and spiritually tasking, 

but I was strengthened by the messages 

of encouragement from the House, and the 

continuous prayer. During this time I learned the 

power of calling things that be not as though 

they are. My family encouraged me to keep Pastor 

Yemisi’s testimony in mind.

By the time I went back for a check-up, the doctors 

and consultants couldn’t believe how well my 

bones had healed. They were also shocked at the 

speed at which I learned to walk. It was a complete 

restoration - nothing broken and nothing missing. 

I want to thank God for Pastor Yemisi for sharing 

her testimony and encouraging others. I am 

completely healed, and I continue my favourite 

hobby - jogging.

MIRACLE CONCEPTION 

I 

lost 

one fallopian tube to ectopic 

pregnancy but by God’s grace, I got 

pregnant in the same year and had a child. 

Afterwards, the Doctors kept pressurizing 

me to have another immediately because 

according to them, subsequent pregnancies 

could be difficult if not impossible since I had 

only one tube and my menstrual cycle was very 

erratic. 

I tried to do everything right 

to aid conception, but 

one year turned into 

two years, then 

three years, 

almost till the 

sixth year, 

still, no show. 

The Doctors 

had booked 

me for a 

series of tests 

saying they 

had come to the 

realization that on 

top of everything, 

I was almost not 

ovulating at all. Then the 

Doctors started pushing a fertility 

drug my way. Saying it was necessary to aid the 

process. I never got around to taking the drug 

anyway because my husband believed that God 

would give us other children in His own time. 

During the June 2017 fasting period Pastor 

prophesied about the numerous Blessings God 

was bestowing on His children and how they 

were flowing unto the altar. He mentioned Babies 

among the blessings and I prayed for one of 

those babies God was sharing and forgot about 

it. Fast forward to August and I had gone through 

a series of events that were pretty stressful and I 

was believing God for a breakthrough. I had just 

received news on Friday about another situation 

coming up and was seriously praying about it 

during this Sunday’s Miracle Service. 

Everything else was normal or so I thought. I 

suddenly felt slightly unwell that day. I got a 

medical checkup on Monday, thinking all the 

stress was now affecting me health wise…… and 

to God be the Glory, I was pregnant! I was still not 

believing my eyes till I saw the first scan. My first 

question was “God, at this time?” But He does have 

a sense of humor. There was no symptom, nothing. 

But the perfectly healthy baby was conceived 

most definitely in June according to the first scan. 

I was expecting an answer to something else and 

God blessed me with something spectacular. 

Praise be to God! 

This whole situation has given more meaning to 

what God says in: Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) 

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither 

are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the 

heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways 

higher than your ways, and my thoughts than 

your thoughts.

11years ago. God used the 

ministry of Pastor Femi and Min 

Sade Faseru to bless my life. 

When we joined KICC we were 

believing God for the fruit of the womb. During a 

Faith clinic in July 2012 Pastor Femi was teaching 

on the series “It will end in praise”. 

I came to church very depressed and as Pastor 

spoke I was attentive. That was the beginning of 

our miracle. By July 2013 God blessed us with the 

Cutest Twins. 

After 16 years God has used this wonderful 

ministry to put everlasting joy in our lives. This 

can only be God. It is the Lord's doing and it is 

marvellous in my sight. We can't appreciate them 

enough.

thank God for His goodness; for making such 

an occasion like this come to pass in our lives. 

I congratulate you and thank God for your 

steadfastness, your humility and your unyielding 

desire to be a blessing. 

Since it's inception two decades ago the Spirit of the 

Lord has used this convention to bless, heal, deliver 

and set free. God has moved everyone who attends 

The Winning Women Convention from one level 

of glory to another. We give God all the glory. Every 

vision the Lord has put in your heart will come to pass 

. 

While we are thankful for what the Lord has done, I 

praise God for what He is yet to do through you.

Your strong leadership example, love, faith, 

courage, compassion, sensitivity to God’s 

heart as a wife, mother, and mentor of 

women has raised the standard of women

Women have been inspired to arise, take 

their place, and accomplish great exploits 

in the church and, in every arena of life. 

Thank you for creating a platform for 

women where the captives can be set free, 

broken hearts are made whole, broken 

lives and families restored and reconciled, 

the hopeless find hope, the lost find their 

way, broken dreams are restored and 

dreamers can begin to dream again. 

We celebrate this great milestone with

Hebrews 6:10: “For God is not

and labour of love, which ye have shown 

towards His name, in that ye have 

ministered to the saints, and do minister.”

foundation of love and prayer, and making 

it so easy for us to receive from the LORD.

auspicious moment in the journey of KICC Winning 

Women. A massive salutation to God’s General and 

Handmaiden Pastor Yemisi Ashimolowo for spearheading this 

great ministry, which has been a blessing to us, nations and 

other individuals. May the unction on your life increase more 

and more Pastor Yemisi! 

I have personally been so impacted by the yearly conventions 

I constantly look forward to it, and start preparing for the 

following year immediately after one ends. This yearly 

Convention has always been a source of great inspiration and 

impartation in my life and to have the privilege to minister on 

this platform was an experience not to be forgotten! 

Woman of God, thanks so much for 20 Years of pouring yourself

Convention 

Looking back to the nineties, I 

can clearly remember coming 

for the evening services and 

attending the Convention, as our 

residence was 10 minutes walk 

from the church. As a young woman in her late twenties, 

attending KICC’s evening services added a secure footing 

and a sense of direction to my Christian journey. 

The impact your ministry has had on me is immeasurable. 

I can confidently say that you blazed the trail for women 

like me by guiding and mentoring me indirectly. I was 

able to understand the role of female leaders in the 

ministry and the nation. Without the active influence 

of your ministry in my life, I would not be the person I 

am today in ministry. Little did I know I would follow in 

your footsteps, supporting my husband as a shepherd in 

God’s Kingdom. Fast forward to 2014, when you accepted 

my invitation to speak at the Balance Living Women’s 

Conference at House of Praise, Mississauga, Canada. I 

was overwhelmed at the love and warmth you showed 

me and continue to show me. 

The words you spoke certainly multiplied in my life and 

that of a multitude of women in attendance. In 2016, 

you again blessed us with an impactful ministration and 

my ministry ascended to another level. I was motivated 

to take full charge of the mantle for women causes 

in ministry and in the nation, you shined the light of 

pioneering new things into my life. 

As a wife, mother and leader in the Kingdom, your words 

of advice have continually stirred me in the right path. I 

am super grateful that God brought you into my life. 

Thank you for being a mentor, mother, and a general in 

God’s army. I am very proud of you Ma, for all that you 

have accomplished, and all that God is using you to do in 

the lives of so many women, including myself. You have 

consistently encouraged us to be Winning Women for 

Christ. 

Congratulations again. Many more impactful years of

Having the privilege to know 

Mama through a Mentor of 

mine was a great honour. 

Since the day we met 

Mama has been a spiritual mother to 

me. As a young Pastor's wife, Mama 

has made me realise the importance 

supporting the call of God upon our 

husbands, as God put the assignment 

in his hand. 

I have also come to appreciate how to, at the same time, face 

ones’ own role within the family, getting the best out of everyone 

and then also those around us. 

Whenever I call Mama she's always ready to give me word of 

advice and when she is about to end the conversation, she will 

say "Our Senior Pastor has said this is the year of…” and she will 

use this prophetic Word to pray or direct me. This helps me to 

truly understand the KICC vision is going all over the world. A 

house divided shall fall. 

I love mama so much, very humble, caring and ready to listen. 

I am privileged to call her my mentor and a spiritual mother.

20th Anniversary 

Convention. A group 

of us travel from Bristol every year to 

glean from the word that is delivered 

powerfully by Pastor Yemisi and the guest 

ministers lined up for us. I have to say 

that each theme has been relevant to 

our specific needs in the different stages 

of our lives. It has definitely lifted us up 

from one level to another level in our 

effectiveness for God. 

As a wife, mother and woman in ministry, 

there are so many demands placed on my 

life, hence the need to take a break, go 

somewhere different, and have fun while 

refuelling. I have been impacted greatly 

by Winning Women, such that November 

has become one of my highlights during 

the year, a special time of impartation and 

refreshing. I have learnt so many things 

by attending these conventions, from the 

way they are executed with amiability, 

excellence and professionalism, to the 

way the women (and men) so graciously 

serve the attendees. The atmosphere of 

worship, fellowship and love prevails 

in the place and always creates an 

environment where we can minister to 

God and receive freely from Him. 

I remember a specific convention where 

Pastor Yemisi’s message spoke to me 

directly when she said “your place is 

vacant in society, rise up and occupy 

your place, break out of limitations, 

come out of fear and take your place. 

Some of you should be writing books, 

producing CD’s, starting businesses, 

running conventions; whatever it is rise 

up and occupy your place.” Although 

she was addressing thousands of us, that 

word spoke to me directly. At that point I 

was at a crossroads concerning the next 

phase of my life. So I took that word, and 

by God’s grace applied it and moved out 

of my place of limitation into my place 

ordained by Him. I have occupied my 

place in destiny. 

I am now an author of four published 

books that minister to women of all 

stages in life. I have since started an 

organisation – Hope For Every Woman 

– that empowers women locally and 

internationally to fulfil their potential in 

Christ. I have done three trips to Israel 

as the main pilgrimage pastor, and I am 

involved in various Christian networks 

in my local community and abroad. God 

has opened the door for me to host an 

annual women`s conference in my city 

and alongside my husband, we pastor our 

local church. I have become a “winning 

woman” to the glory of God! By His grace 

I will continue to win and impact my 

generation with the love of God. 

I sincerely believe that women who come 

to the Winning Women convention and 

apply what they are taught, become 

agents of change in their communities 

and in turn raise winning women around 

them. This is precisely Pastor Yemisi’s 

passion. 

So on behalf of Hope For Every Woman 

and God’s House International Centre 

(RCCG), I would like to congratulate 

Pastors Yemisi and Matthew Ashimolowo, 

and the KICC Winning Women’s ministry 

team on this amazing milestone. Long 

may this ministry thrive and continue to 

transform the lives of women locally and

would first like to 

thank God for the 

Winning Women 

Ministry and its 

founder Pastor Yemisi 

Ashimolowo. 

Ten years ago, my 

sister Habi Castanou 

and I first attended a 

conference organized by this ministry. I can 

still recollect the amazement we had at the 

relevance of a ministry dedicated to women. 

We were so enthralled by the quality of the 

organization and the depth of the teaching we 

received that it compelled us to have the same 

for the francophone world. 

We met with Pastor Yemisi who welcomed 

us warmly and encouraged us to birth the 

Impact Women Ministry in France. She 

even honoured us by preaching in our first 

conference in 2006. Since, the ministry has 

never ceased to spread to utter parts of the 

francophone world in Africa, in Northern 

America, in Europe and in the Caribbean. 

We recently celebrated the tenth anniversary 

of the ministry through a conference that 

gathered up to three thousand women in 

Paris. I can say that all was made possible 

through the Winning Women Ministry that 

has been a great inspiration to us 

In the course of the past years, Pastor Yemisi 

has been a mentor, a mother and an unfailing 

support to us. Now that you are celebrating 25 

years of ministry, influence and impact to the 

glory of God, please know that you have help 

build a ministry that has 10 years of ministry, 

influence and impact to the glory of God. 

May God richly bless the Winning Women 

Ministry and its leader Pastor Yemisi and

We also do quiz evenings and hold talks on various subjects including benefits, personal safety, bridging the 

age gap, carers support and housing. We are responsible for entirely funding this project and we also provide 

transportation for the frail individuals who are very keen to attend. 

“We have had students referred to us from a local college, to come and volunteer with us 

in the kitchen. The elderly people also volunteer to help prepare tea and coffee, 

lay the table and serve others at the table - this is our seniors helping 

other seniors’ scheme! “As part of our community engagement, we 

have worked with organisations including the Rotary Club, St Luke’s 

Hospice, a local church, Home Instead Ltd, Ladybirdz, Castlepoint’s 

Keep-it-Clear Campaign team, Steepleview Community Association 

and Swan Housing. 

THE NOAH’S ARK FOOD BANK 

This is a community initiative envisioned 

by our Senior Pastor, the Noah’s Ark 

Food Bank was launched in January 2015 at KICC 

Prayer City. The initiative runs a monthly food 

distribution that serves the Kent community and reaches as 

far as Reading, London and different parts of Essex. 

As part of its goal to eradicate poverty and hunger in school children, Noah’s Ark has been 

working with the teachers and parents of secondary school in Maidstone, Kent since December 

2016. Min Peju added: “This service is not exclusive to KICC members. We also have recipients 

from areas where there is a KICC Branch or Chapel. We’ve also had two recent referrals from 

Chelmsford. They are not KICC members. They found the service on the KICC website and 

contacted us to tell us about their needs. 

We delivered their food bags to them via the Resident Minister of KICC Chelmsford and 

received updates on their circumstances via this local branch. We also receive referrals from 

local schools, job clubs, health groups, homeless units, single parent clubs and other churches.” 

As part of its community engagement activities, Noah’s Ark also works with Fareshare Kent, a charity that redistributes 

surplus food to charities and community organisations working with disadvantaged people across the region at 

heavily discounted rates.
