business sector,
namely the Total
Security Summit and
the Security IT
Summit. Risk Xtra is
serving as the Official
Media Partner for
both. Selected VIP
delegates will be able
to meet with several of
the sector’s foremost
solution suppliers in a
structured
environment and learn
from the advice
offered in detailed
Best Practice seminars
Meet, Learn and Connect at the
Total Security Summit and the
Security IT Summit 2019
The Total Security Summit is designed to
allow senior security professionals to meet
with innovative and competitive suppliers
to the industry. This two-day event takes place
on 14-15 October at the Midland Hotel in
Manchester. As a VIP guest of Forum Events,
attending security and risk-focused
professionals can engage with chosen suppliers
based on their own requirements and upcoming
projects. All meetings are pre-arranged. There’s
no time wasted and absolutely no ‘hard sell’.
You’ll also have the opportunity to network
with like-minded peers who share your ongoing
security and risk management challenges.
Security professionals with the following job
titles are invited to attend the Summit for free:
Security Director, Loss Prevention
Director/Manager, Procurement
Director/Manager, Business Continuity
Director, Head of Security, Buildings Manager,
Security Advisor or Head of Corporate Security.
Forum Events will take care of all hospitality
throughout, including lunches, refreshments,
overnight accommodation and an invitation to
the Total Security Summit networking dinner
complete with entertainment.
Delegates at previous Summits have included
representatives from the likes of Allen & Overy,
Barnet Council, Buro Happold Engineering,
Canary Wharf Group, David McBrayne HR, DHL
Supply Chain, HSBC, Johnson Matthey,
Ladbrokes Coral Group, Loopel, Nottingham
College, NHS Dorset County Hospital,
Portmeirion, Sodexo, Thames Water, Token Inc,
Travelodge, The Babraham Institute, The
Football Association, Travelex and the Victoria
& Albert Museum.
Seminar sessions will also be hosted
throughout the two days, with speakers
including Darren Stanton (TV’s ‘Human Lie
Detector’). His session is entitled ‘Seeing Is Not
Always Believing’. From ensuring someone’s
insurance claim is real, or that a job candidate
is being truthful, through to preventing
terrorism, Stanton will evidence how his subtle
techniques are being used to keep us all safe
from those who would seek to do harm.
Here’s what delegates at previous Summit’s
have had to say about the event:
• “I found the Total Security Summit a very
useful opportunity to develop my
understanding of a range of new and
occasionally cutting-edge physical security
capabilities. Well attended by a range of very
credible suppliers. It was the ideal opportunity
to broaden my network of expert contacts”
(Allen & Overy LLP)
• “Always a pleasure to attend this event.
Informative, well organised and productive”
(Luton & Dunstable Hospital)
• “This event provides an excellent opportunity
to have meaningful conversations with key
suppliers. The atmosphere is totally relaxed,
with suppliers happy to explore your ‘best fit’
solution with no ‘hard sell’ pressure. A
worthwhile and productive event” (Vodafone)
