We all face challenges, but the most
important thing to remember is that God is
always with you to comfort you when you
are weak, and celebrate when you are
joyous. Reach to Him when you are at your
lowest, but also when you are happiest!
Pray, worship, glorify.
Keep this book close by for encourgement,
but keep Jesus closer.

Therefore, since we have been
made right in God’s sight by faith,
we have peace with God because
of what Jesus Christ our Lord has
done for us. Because of our faith,
Christ has brought us into this
place of undeserved privilege
where we now stand, and we
confidently and joyfully look
forward to sharing God’s glory.
Romans 5:1-2
And without faith it is impossible
to please God, because anyone
who comes to him must believe
that he exists and that he rewards
those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
1

For you formed my inward
parts; you knitted me together
in my mother's womb. I praise
you, for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made. Wonderful
are your works; my soul knows
it very well.
Psalm 139:13-14
For the Spirit God gave us does
not make us timid, but gives us
power, love, and self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
2

God is our refuge and strength, an
ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though
the earth give way and the
mountains fall into the heart of
the sea, though its waters roar and
foam and the mountains quake
with their surging.
Psalm 46:1-3
You are my hiding place; you will
protect me from trouble and
surround me with songs of
deliverance.
Psalm 32:7-8
3

Do not be anxious about anything, but
in every situation, by prayer and
petition, with thanksgiving, present
your requests to God. And the peace
of God, which transcends all
understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
Therefore do not worry
about tomorrow, for
tomorrow will worry about
itself. Each day has enough
trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34
4

I will instruct thee and
teach thee in the way
which thou shalt go: I will
guide thee with mine eye.
Psalms 32:8
Trust in the LORD with all thine
heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall
direct thy paths.
Proverbs 3:5-6
5

And my God will meet all your
needs according to his glorious
riches in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
For the love of money is a root of
all kinds of evil. Some people,
eager for money, have wandered
from the faith and pierced
themselves with many griefs.
1 Timothy 6:10
6

Those who are without friends,
God puts in families; he makes
free those who are in chains;
but those who are turned away
from him are given a dry land.
Psalm 68:6
Seek and read from the book of
the Lord: Not one of these shall
be missing; none shall be without
her mate. For the mouth of the
Lord has commanded, and his
Spirit has gathered them.
Isaiah 34:16
7

I keep my eyes always on the
LORD. With him at my right
hand, I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and
my tongue rejoices; my body also
will rest secure.
Psalm 16:8-9
May the God of hope fill you with
joy and peace as you trust in him,
so that you overflow with hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
8

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and
the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all
our troubles, so that we can comfort those in
any trouble with the comfort we ourselves
receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
This is my comfort in my
affliction, for Your word has
given me life.
Psalm 119:50
9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and
just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse
us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
But God shows his love for us
in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8
10

For the Lord gives wisdom; from
his mouth come knowledge and
understanding;
Proverbs 2:6
I have heard of you that the
spirit of the gods is in you, and
that light and understanding
and excellent wisdom are found
in you.
Daniel 5:14
11

For I know the plans I have
for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to
give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11
Now may the Lord of peace
himself give you peace at all
times and in every way. The
Lord be with all of you.
2 Thessalonians 3:16
12

If you want to know what God wants
you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly
tell you, for He is always ready to give
a bountiful supply of wisdom to all
who ask Him; He will not resent it.
But when you ask Him, be sure that
you really expect Him to tell you, for a
doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a
wave of the sea that is driven and
tossed by the wind; and every
decision you then make will be
uncertain, as you turn first this way,
and then that. If you don't ask with
faith, don't expect the Lord to give
you any solid answer.
James 1:5
And call upon me in the day of
trouble; I will deliver you, and
you shall glorify me.
Psalm 50:15
13

Hear my prayer, O LORD;
listen to my cry for
mercy. In the day of my
trouble I will call to you,
for you will answer me.
Psalm 86:6-7
This is what the Lord says, he
who made the earth, the Lord
who formed it and established it
— the Lord is his name: Call to
me and I will answer you and tell
you great and unsearchable
things you do not know.
Jeremiah 33:2-3
14

Finally, brothers, rejoice.
Aim for restoration,
comfort one another, agree
with one another, live in
peace; and the God of love
and peace will be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11
But I say to you, Love your
enemies and pray for those
who persecute you.
Matthew 5:44
15

For husbands, this means
love your wives, just as
Christ loved the church. He
gave up his life for her.
Ephesians 5:25
Be completely humble and gentle;
be patient, bearing with one
another in love.
Ephesians 4:2
16

Children are a
heritage from the
LORD, offspring a
reward from him.
Psalm 127:3
All your children will
be taught by the
LORD, and great will
be their peace.
Isaiah 54:13
17

He will never leave you nor
forsake you. Do not be
afraid; do not be
discouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8
Don't fear, for I have
redeemed you; I have
called you by name;
you are Mine.
Isaiah 43:1
18

Therefore you too have grief
now; but I will see you again,
and your heart will rejoice,
and no one will take your joy
away from you.
John 16:22
Do not let your hearts be
troubled. You believe in God;
believe also in me. My Father’s
house has many rooms; if that
were not so, would I have told you
that I am going there to prepare a
place for you?
John 14:1-2
19

Come to me, all you who are
weary and burdened, and I
will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you and learn
from me, for I am gentle and
humble in heart, and you
will find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29
When you lie down, you
will not be afraid; when
you lie down, your sleep
will be sweet.
Proverbs 3:24
20

Praise the Lord our God;
worship before his throne!
Holy is he!
Psalm 99:5
Worship the LORD with
joy; come before him
with happy songs!
Psalm 100:2
21

And now these three remain: faith,
hope and love. But the greatest of
these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13
We love because He
first loved us.
1 John 4:19
22

Since, then, you have been raised
with Christ, set your hearts on things
above, where Christ is, seated at the
right hand of God. Set your minds on
things above, not on earthly things.
Colossians 3:1-2
But Jesus looked at them and
said, “With man this is
impossible, but with God all
things are possible.”
Matthew 19:26
23

Thank you for reading!
Rejoice always, pray continually, give
thanks in all circumstances; for this is
God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do
not quench the Spirit.
