2020 KAWASAKI

Kawasaki has increased 2020 with

a completely revised KX250.

Kawasaki’s dedicated

motocross racing motorcycles

for 2020 all include liquidcooled

two-stroke engines for

serious power in a wide, usable

powerband. There are four in

the lineup: the KX65, KX85,

KX100, KX450 and KX250 each

slightly bigger than the next,

again, to fit the bike to the rider.

The fresh look to the green 2020 range

includes the headline act KX250 arriving with

similar changes we saw on the 2019 KX450

naturally aimed at boosting power and

performance.

2020 KX450:

KAWASAKI’S KX 450 underwent a major

revamp in 2018. In 2020, the bike gets some

fresh graphics. Here’s a highlights package.

2020 Kawasaki KX450 Key

Features:

KX450 motorcycles are infused

with cutting-edge technology

derived from Kawasaki factory

race teams.

• Powerful 449cc 4-stroke engine

• 49mm Showa coil spring front fork with

A-KIT Technology

• Uni-Trak® rear suspension

• Hydraulic clutch

• Electric start

• ERGO-FIT® technology

• Lightweight frame and swingarm

• Launch Control Mode

Engine:

Delivering strong, responsive power,

the KX450 features a finger-follower

valve train. Crafted with the same

design used by Kawasaki factory race teams,

the 449cc engine produces broad torque and

strong power across the entire rev range.

SUSPENSION

49mm Showa Coil Spring Front Fork

combined with A-KIT Technology. Largediameter

inner tubes allow the use of

large damping pistons for race-winning

performance while a large-diameter front axle

improves front-wheel traction. The Uni-Trak®

rear suspension system ensures optimal rearwheel

traction.

BRAKES

The KX450 features stopping power to

match its 450 acceleration capability. Up

front, an oversized 270mm Braking petal

disc with dual-piston caliper offers sharp

response and a strong, consistent feel. In the

rear, a large-diameter 250mm Braking petal

disc complements the front for race-ready

performance.

ERGO-FIT & ERGONOMICS

Find your best performance with the

Kawasaki ERGO-FIT advantage. Four

handlebar positions and two footpeg

positions allow you to tailor the bike to your

body size, riding style and preference. Wide

footpegs ensure excellent grip for optimum

comfort and control.

ELECTRIC START AND HYDRAULIC

CLUTCH

Conserve energy and ride smarter with an

electric start and hydraulic clutch. A lithiumion

battery ensures strong and reliable

starting performance, eliminating the need

for a backup kickstarter. The hydraulic clutch

offers a direct feel and consistent actuation

even as engine temperatures rise while also

offering a light pull at the lever.

“Most powerful” KX250 ever!

All new for 2020.

The headline act for Kawasaki in 2020 is the

KX250 race machines which stands on the

shoulders of its 450-capacity sibling with

similar updates and a bold claim to be the

“most powerful yet” 250 four stroke.
