The community booth Trading Floor unites energy trade

exhibitors, providers of energy services as well as vendors

of trading and forecasting software. Technologies

and solutions that will shape the future energy trade

will be presented in this area. In face-to-face meetings,

current challenges of energy trading can be discussed

and there is the opportunity to exchange views with

exhibiting companies as well as politicians, association

representatives and journalists. International industry

experts will cover concepts and chances for the future

industry. This potential needs to be promoted. The topic

area Innovation combines the joint booth for young and

innovative companies, the joint booth “E-world meets

Startups” as well as the exhibitors of the area for science

and research. Here, founders and young companies

have the opportunity to establish important contacts

with investors and representatives of the energy industry.

The topic area is supplemented by a varied program

including an open expert forum, workshops and the

“Business Speed Dating”.

E-world energy & water brings students and graduates

together with companies. The career forum takes place

on the third day of the trade fair and concentrates on

job opportunities in the energy industry. This leads

to specifically targeted, professional communication

between companies and young professionals. Questions

concerning job applications and career opportunities can

be answered in personal discussions. Universities and

other institutions present themselves and their graduate

courses. E-world is the ideal place to make contacts,

build up a network and fill specific vacancies.

Airport-Express-Bus

On all three days of the exhibition, a bus service between

Düsseldorf Airport and MESSE ESSEN fair ground is available

to visitors of E-world energy & water.

The Airport Express Bus departs from the arrival level in

Terminal A in front of the hall at exit door C. The travel

time is approximately 20 minutes. This shuttle bus is a

direct service leaving every 30 minutes between 7.45 am

and 6.45 pm.

(Costs: 15 Euro for one way / 25 Euro for the round trip)

An ICE takes only 22 minutes from Düsseldorf Airport train

station (Bahnhof Flughafen Düsseldorf) to Essen main

railway station (Essen Hauptbahnhof).

Underground line U11 (U-Bahn Linie 11) takes only five

minutes to reach the entrance Messe West.
