A GREAT effort from husband and wife

windsurfers Annie Crombie and Terry

Beentjes in Hawaii on page 1 today.

Annie won the sport section and was

third in the women’s competition at the US

slalom nationals in Maui.

Terry was second in both the semi-pro event and the men’s

40-59 age group racing. He was lucky he got to compete. He

broke his thumb the day after their flights to Hawaii were

booked.

The couple also hadn’t been doing much windsurtfing for

several months, making their performances even more sweeter.

“We’re stoked. We didn’t have any expectations to be on the

podium,” Annie said.

Also on page 1 today, we have more developments in the long

running saga over the Sumner apartments.
