Welcome to our September Newsletter. As
usual we have loads of news to share with
you as we welcome the new September ‘69’
registration plate.
We hope you’ve all had the opportunity to now
see the new Skoda Scala in our showroom
or out & about on the roads, its already been
awarded Auto Express Family Car of the Year.
The latest Superb has just landed with us which
is quite spectacular & now available for you
to view in our showroom, still to come this
year is the new Kamiq SUV & our first ever
electric vehicle, the Citigo BEV (battery electric
vehicle).
As usual we will be at this year’s Stokesley
Show on Saturday 21st September, so if you
have time for a drink why not pop along to our
stand for a chat & drink on us.
We are supporting Teesside hospice by being
their official Great North Run Sponsor this
year, so look out for our name on the runners
vests, plus our own team of runners on 8th
September.
We keep getting asked about Brexit & hear a
lot of people say I’ll wait & see what happens
so here are the answers to a few popular
questions;
Will a no-deal Brexit have an impact on the
price of a new Skoda?
Should a no-deal Brexit occur, for goods
imported from the EU, import duty may apply.
The Government is yet to announce the
exact duty rates that would apply.
Due to the imposition of such
duties, the price of vehicles
imported into the UK after
31st October 2019 may
increase.
Will this affect usual Skoda price protection
policy?
Skoda UK reserves the right to increase the
RRP price at any time if a change to regulation,
legislation or other similar event causes an
increase to the costs of supply of the vehicle to
the UK.
Will Brexit delay the delivery of my new
Skoda?
In the event of a no-deal Brexit, there could
be delays in getting goods into the UK due
to new customs arrangements. Skoda UK
are in discussions with its factories to secure
increased production further mitigating against
the risk of supply disruption at the UK-EU
border.
Will Skoda’s current offers continue after
31st October?
Skoda’s current low rate finance offers in
conjunction with finance deposit contributions
up to £3000, two services from £99 plus £500
free fuel are sure to change after 31st October
should a no-deal Brexit occur.

Motors will take on the world's greatest half
marathon in support of Teesside Hospice on
Sunday 8th September 2019.
#TeamTeesside are participatinging to raise
funds to help support people living with
cancer and life limiting illnesses.
All of the runners have been set a fundraising
target of £300 with every penny raised going
directly towards helping patients at Teesside
Hospice.
Teesside Hospice is a local hospice which
offers palliative care for people who are living
with a life-limiting illness when a cure is no
longer possible. Their care is provided 24
hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days per
year and reaches over 3,000 local people
every year.

WELCOME TO ŠKODA’S
ELECTRIC VEHICLES (EVS)
The market for electric cars, plug-in
hybrids (PHEVs) and battery electric
vehicles (BEVs) is growing rapidly,
production of the CITIGO battery
electric vehicle (BEV), the brand's
first all-electric model will
start late this year along with
the SUPERB plug-in hybrid
electric vehicle (PHEV),
ŠKODA’s first plug-in hybrid
model. Production of the
VISION iV, Skoda’s purely
electric model based on the
MEB (Modular Electrification Kit)
platform, will follow next year. Due
to a focus on electric mobility with the
most extensive investment program in its
history ŠKODA AUTO will have a total of
10 electrified models on the market by
2025.
2019 is an important year for Škoda:
by premièring the SUPERB iV and
CITIGOe iV, Škoda is introducing its iV
sub-brand
and entering
the eMobility era.
The iV goes beyond the
manufacture electrified models.
It is an interconnecting system
for mobility solutions. Specifically,
this means Škoda will be offering affordable
wallboxes with varying levels of output
so that customers have the convenience
of home charging, as well as Škoda
Connectmobile online services. As for
the models themselves, each iV car can
be charged with a cable.
