Milford Green Club<br />

is part of the Brendon Care group, a charity which<br />

runs clubs for older people in Hampshire and<br />

Dorset.. We meet twice a month on the 2nd and<br />

4th Tuesday afternoon at 2.00 pm at the<br />

Community Centre.<br />

We have speakers on a wide range of subjects,<br />

interspersed with the occasional quiz afternoon.<br />

<strong>The</strong> cost is £4 per session. We always end with<br />

tea and cakes. Please contact me for further<br />

At the Knit & Natter Group,<br />

we make ‘Twiddle Muffs’ for<br />

charity (pictured). <strong>The</strong>se are<br />

knitted muffs with items attached,<br />

to keep dementia patients’ hands<br />

active and busy. We also knit other<br />

things for charity, and are in need<br />

of supplies.<br />

Do you have any of the following<br />

that you could donate?<br />

• Any yarn/double or chunky<br />

knitting wool<br />

• Things that can be ’twiddled’ e.g.<br />

buttons, jewellery, bells, bows,<br />

beads , zips<br />

• Also small buttons to use for<br />

premature baby cardigans<br />
