SKATEBOARDING I
Learn basic skateboarding techniques and skills in these group
lessons. You’ll practice balance, pushing, carving and even
some tricks! Skateboards and helmets are required by all, and
pads are recommended.

KIDS PLAY!
Stay active this fall! Run around and make new friends as we
play classic games like kickball, capture the flag and dodge ball,
as well as new games that will improve your child’s ability to
work as part of a team! No class on 11/30.

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS
Rhythmic gymnastics is a unique blend of dance, art and
sport. Participants will be introduced to basic gymnastic skills
and learn a variety of jumps, dance moves, and coordination
exercises. This class will improve flexibility as well as provide
an introduction to rhythmic equipment: ball, hoop, rope, and
ribbon. No class on 10/29, 10/31, 11/26 or 11/28.

CHEER AND TUMBLING
Do you love watching dance squads at sporting events? Come
learn high-energy routines, side-line cheers and chants,
motion technique, stunts, jumps, back hand springs, cheerdance
and basic tumbling.

FISHING DERBY NEW!
Want bragging rights for the year? Cast your line and catch
some fish and fun at the Central Park Lagoon in this Fishing
Derby! Bring your own fishing rod and bait (hot dogs work
well!). We will keep an official tally of the number of fish you
catch. The participants with the top two scores will receive
trophies. A limited number of rods are available for loan, but
must be reserved in advance with Erica Foreman (eforeman@
carmelclayparks.com). Adults are not permitted to fish.
