Golf for Good<br />
This month, Grimaldi’s Pizzeria will team up with No Kid Hungry<br />
for a golf tournament to raise funds to fight childhood cancer.<br />
The second annual event will take place Oct. 11 at Westin<br />
Kierland Golf Club beginning with registration and breakfast<br />
at 7 a.m. There will be a shotgun start of the tournament at 8<br />
a.m. The round of golf will be followed by lunch at the <strong>Scottsdale</strong><br />
Quarter location of Grimaldi’s along with an award ceremony<br />
and announcement of auction winners. Playing spots in the<br />
tournament are $225 per person or $900 for a foursome. www.<br />

Recycle Fest<br />
On Oct. 16, Desert Ridge Marketplace will play host to the semi-annual<br />
I Recycle Phoenix! Organized by Keep Phoenix Beautiful, an affiliate<br />
of Keep America Beautiful, the one-stop recycling festival will take<br />
place 7 a.m.-noon. At the free event, the nonprofit organization will be<br />
accepting hard drives, laptops, computer towers, printers, cell phones,<br />
flat TVs and monitors for donations. Attendees can also bring bikes,<br />
non-perishable food, clothing books, housewares and more. There will<br />
also be the opportunity to shred up to five boxes of personal documents<br />
for free. Donators can either drop off via drive-thru or park and<br />
