Cornerstone Annual Report | 2018-2019

The Cornerstone story began in 1993 when we opened our doors to serve 13 students. Although much has changed since our founding, we remain committed to excellence through our kingdom purpose of empowering students to glorify God. We are blessed to continue Cornerstone’s heritage of enriching the lives of students through an affordable, Christ-centered education, which is made possible with your support. Through our generous donors, our parents, and our faculty and staff, we are achieving excellence and pursuing a mission with eternal impact. We are grateful for all of you.

DUAL ENROLLMENT
Cornerstone partners with a local college to enable our high school juniors and seniors to take
classes and earn both high school and college credit. Through this program, students can graduate
with up to 26 hours of college credit. As Cornerstone covers the full cost of these courses, this gives
our students the incredible opportunity to earn almost a full year of college credit hours to help them
graduate from college on time, or even early, with less student debt. Dual enrollment also introduces
students to the rigors of college coursework early and gives students the opportunity to take classes
beyond those offered at Cornerstone.
ACT RESULTS
Cornerstone students undergo ACT preparation to help increase their scores and strengthen
their college application. Our 2019 test results showed tremendous gains for our students, with
100% of our students improving, including a student scoring as high as a “35” in one subject area.
