HIGH SCHOOL<br />
Out of Hours Sport<br />
Term 3 has seen another season of winter sport<br />
come to an end, with many successes amongst<br />
our NMHS teams. This season we entered teams in<br />
soccer, Australian Rules football basketball, netball<br />
and badminton, totalling 17 teams across both the<br />
Middle and Senior Campuses.<br />
All our teams competed valiantly each week, with<br />
many teams playing off in the finals. One highlight<br />
was our Year 8 Girls netball team, who went through<br />
the entire season losing only one game, winning in<br />
the grand final. Another success story this season<br />
has been the revival of the Senior Boys Australia<br />
rules football, with NMHS entering their first team in 7<br />
years. Inspired by the coach, Mr Vanderloo, the boys<br />
thrived on the opportunity to represent the school<br />
and made it all the way to the grand final.<br />
Well done to all our students who represented the<br />
school for our winter sport as we now look forward<br />
to the summer season starting in Week 1 next term.<br />
