Entry requirements

• You do not need any qualifications.

• We will do an assessment to find out which

course level is right for you.

• Before you start, you will meet other students

and your tutors at College to help you settle in.

• You can join a group of students who are already

following a similar course and try it out to see if

this is right for you.

About the course

This course helps you learn about work and includes

a work placement in catering and hospitality. You

will develop valuable employability skills, learn about

the importance of health & safety in the workplace

and customer service. We will also help you get a

qualification in English, maths and hospitality &

catering. In addition, you go on trips and take part in

fundraising activities.

Your future

After you have finished this course, you may progress

on to other Foundation Learning programmes or in to

employment.

Try out a range of activities linked to our other

College courses. There are lots of choices including

Art & Design, Catering, Childcare, Computing,

Performing Arts, Sport, Travel and Horticulture.

Tutors find out what you are interested in and create

the perfect course for you. You go on trips and take

part in fundraising activities. In addition, you work to

improve your maths, English and ICT skills.

Your future

After you have finished this course, you may progress

on to other Foundation Learning programmes or in to

employment.
