We do this with contemporary understanding to create a dynamic and diversecommunity, welcoming you and your involvement.PROGRESSIVEThe structure of our Progressiveservices allows you to choosethe type of prayer that ismost meaningful for you.You may choose from alternatereadings in English, you may readthe Hebrew prayer (available bothin Hebrew script and in Englishtransliteration), or you may choose totake a moment of personal reflection.Our Friday night “ShabbatLive” service is a moving,innovative service where prayeris enhanced with musicalinstruments, beautiful melodies,creative readings and stories.Shabbat Live is held at6:15pm every Friday.The Progressive Shabbat Service beginsat 10:00am each Saturday morning.MASORTIOur Masorti (traditional) servicesare run almost entirely in Hebrew,honouring the tradition withcontemporary insights.As with all services at EmanuelSynagogue, men and womenparticipate equally and fully.The Friday night Carlebach serviceis a traditional Kabbalat Shabbatservice, featuring the well-knownmelodies of Shlomo Carlebach.The Masorti service is held at6.15pm every Friday.Our Masorti Shabbat Service beginsat 9am on Saturday mornings.We also hold a Masorti Minyanat 6:45am on Monday andThursday mornings.RENEWALThe Renewal movement is devoted topersonal and spiritual development,reinvigorating modern Judaism withKabbalistic and musical practices.Through our Renewal activitiesyou will have the opportunity toreach a new level of awareness,stress relief, self-development,relaxation and inner healing.Email: orna@emanuel.org.auRabbi Jeffrey B.
