The art sales catalog is divided into four sections, each painting is numbered.
The first chapter features abstract paintings of large dimensions, from 110 to 200
cm.
The second chapter presents abstract paintings of dimensions 70 x 100 cm.
The third chapter consists of abstract paintings of small dimensions, from 20 cm to 70
cm.
And the fourth chapter presents the latest artworks from 2019, of various dimensions,
mixed techniques on a wooden panel.

ABOUT
Uroš Paternu was born into the intellectual family in 1972 in Kranj in the former
Yugoslavia and the previous regime. In the same year, 1991, as the war for
Slovenia's independence began, he was admitted to the Academy of Fine Arts in
Ljubljana as an outstanding student, approved by Dean, Professor and Academic
Painter Janez Bernik.
From 1991-1995 he was studying painting and graduated at the Academy of Fine
Arts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he also received the Master's Degree from abstract
painting in the year 2000. In the year 1996, he received the University »Prešeren«
Award for the painting »Wet living green«. And in the same year, he also received the
First Prize for a postgraduate study from Ivan Napotnik Cultural Centre, Velenje. Only
three years after graduating from the Academy he presents his first independent and
comprehensive exhibition in Gallery Keleia, in Slovenia.
In 2015 he was awarded 2 Prix Award, International Exhibition Art Resilience,
Musée de Peinture de Saint - Frajou, France. On their invitation, he becomes an
associate member of the Art Resilience movement in France.
His work appears in various publications and his paintings are represented in
corporate and private collections. Internationally his paintings have been exhibited in
Japan, Italy, Portugal, and France.
He lives and paints in Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe.

Uroš Paternu developed his recognizable and unique visual language in the
'90s with the theoretical interpretation of his own creative process, which is
characterized by artistic analysis and systematization. The basic and most
active agent and content of the artistic creation of Uroš Paternu is the color in
all its range and dynamics, attitudes and relationships, in violations of the rules
and freedom from them with inner depth and visual form.
The expansive tendency of color creates an atmosphere of sensation which is
supported by the inner hierarchy of meaning created by the form of the image.
In color, he searches its dematerialized nature, which is a creative process
that becomes a carefully considered composition, an echo of inner worlds,
reflections, play, resonates in the viewer's perception and reflection, as an
impulsive, changeable living expression of his inner creative richness and
substantive personality.
