be attentive to road signs. Visitors can
drive for up to 90 days on a valid foreign
licence.

Take practical precautions when travelling:
note emergency numbers; always
lock your room/house/vehicle (including
windows); don’t wear expensive
jewellery, and conceal/secure valuables;
move in groups where possible; avoid
deserted locations, and be aware of your
surroundings. If driving, buckle up, and
drive defensively.

Sustainable tourism tips
• Buy local goods and souvenirs
• Recycle plastic, glass, cans, paper, cardboard,
and e-waste through bins at various locations
• Reduce: turn off electrical devices when you
don’t need them; avoid plastic bags, single-use
plastics, and styrofoam; buy and consume only
what you need; reuse when you can; conserve
water.
