Welcome to J’AIME
This month marks not only the start of a new
year, but a new decade and all of the promise
a fresh start brings. 2019 proved an exciting
year for J’AIME, culminating in three fantastic
nominations at the Midlands Media Awards to
show for the dedication and hard work we put
into the magazine each month, and we hope
2020 will see us continue to cement our place as
the Midlands’ favourite glossy lifestyle magazine.
A heartfelt thanks to all of our contributors,
advertisers and readers for your ongoing support
- it really does mean so much.
A new year always brings with it resolutions to
change or improve our lives - what’s top of your
list this year? If it’s health and fitness goals then
our favourite personal trainer Raul Romero
offers some advice, plus we’ve got some ideas if
you want to do a little more to help the planet,
while Lichfield travel experts RB Collection
share some dream destinations if you’re hoping
for a little more adventure in 2020.
Elsewhere, we chat to inspirational Staffordshire
chef Matt Davies, who is on a fundraising
mission following a life-changing accident.
We’ve got all of your usual favourites too; from
fashion and beauty trends to winter interiors
updates plus food and drink news galore, we
hope there’s plenty here to stave off the January
blues.
Congratulations are in order for some of our
latest winners; Amy Beaumont from Fradley,
Steve Walker from Sutton Coldfield and
Suzanne Wem from Shenstone all scooped
tickets to the BBC Good Food Show Winter at
the NEC. We hope you had a fantastic time!
