VE Day
Commemorations
When VE Day dawns on 8th May 2020
it will be 75 years since the guns fell
silent at the end of the war in Europe
and Beaconsfield Town Council would
like to mark the occasion.
Building on the success of last year’s WW1
commemorations, various groups in our
community have got together again to put
on a few events for you. We would like to
thank all those volunteers who are helping
again to make a truly memorable number
of days.
By popular demand the Town Council is
hosting a WW2 memorabilia exhibition at the
Town Hall which promises to be even larger
than last time with an extension of 5 days
and open to the public from 5th – 9th May.
To include your WW2 items and
stories as exhibits please call the
Town Council on 675173 or email
