CHILDCARE AND EARLY LEARNING CENTERS LEARN. ENGAGE. THRIVE. SIGN UP TODAY! Provide your child a warm and supportive environment in which to grow. At the eight branches of the YMCA of Greater Brandywine, many childcare and early learning programs are offered for children six weeks to six years old including: • Childcare • Preschool and Pre-K Led by certified teachers, children are provided with hands-on learning experiences through a comprehensive, research-based curriculum known as Creative Curriculum, which focuses on exploration and discovery as a way of learning. In addition, our programs participate in the Keystone STARS program, which promotes high quality standards in early learning and school aged programs. Because of the YMCA’s facilities and offerings, many of our programs also include swim lessons, sports, gymnastics, music and more.* In addition, classes available at the YMCA such as dance and karate can be added on to your child’s day,* with YMCA staff ensuring each child moves safely from one activity to the next. Finally, because of donations to the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, we are able to offer financial assistance to those unable to afford the standard fees.
