<strong>Fremont</strong> Students Think Differently <strong>Fremont</strong> <strong>International</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> reopened in 2019 as a new, academically rigorous elementary magnet school with a learning experience based on the <strong>International</strong> Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme. After four years of implementation, <strong>Fremont</strong> earned its official IB designation in the spring of 2023! At <strong>Fremont</strong>, we see our students as internationally-minded critical thinkers. Every student learns how to ask questions, embrace challenges and empathize with others through a cutting-edge learning experience that includes foreign language instruction and a world culture focus. A <strong>Fremont</strong> education prepares students to be open-minded, reflective lifelong thinkers who positively impact the world. WHAT IS IB? <strong>Fremont</strong> <strong>International</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> is now officially an <strong>International</strong> Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme school. The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. IB Schools enable students to direct their own learning pathways and develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive and make a lasting difference in their community and the world.
