One of the most stunning moments of autumn is the turning leaves
and the spectacular change of nature. The shorter days are an omen to
trees to prepare themselves for wintertime. The raw and unfiltered
nature is tuning from green to golden surrounded by a special light.
Soon leaves are fading and falling, and the frost is taking over. Only for
a short amount of time the vibrant amber, red and yellow tones are
here to set a magic scene.
The temperature drops and the air seems more fresh and crisp. This
time of year calls for indoor activities. In the North we are always
prepared for long winters, and knows how to get cozy by the fireplace,
having hot chocolate and making puzzles. The sound of happy children
playing is filling the room. Some plays chess, others are building a den
and at the table some are doing imaginative drawings, while listen to
an old fairytale.
This autumn we have been inspired by the forest and its hues as well as
the amazing mountain cabin life of the North. Our color scale includes
caramel, navy, army leaf, brown and red berries. The print focus has
been our signature flower prints, stripes and understated checks. Our
popular front prints include wild animal life, a snow theme with cool
skiers, snowmobiles and fascinating mountain peaks.
