A WORD FROM THE EDITORG’day all and welcome to Edition #001 ofCOMMANDO – The Magazine of theAustralian Commando Association, for -mal ly known as Commando News. COMMANDO wascreated to encompass all Commandos from WW2 tothose coming through into our Regiments to those whoare no longer serving. Commando News was originallythe Commando Association NSW Newsletter and thenadopted by ACA NSW and then into the CommandoNews Magazine.I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the originalEditor of Commando News and longtime President ofACA NSW, Barry Grant. Thank you for your advice andsupport during the last four editions of CommandoNews. Your advice has always been appreciated.COMMANDO will be published four times per yearwhich will be; January, April, July and October. Thisallows the magazine to fit into the Calendar year andbe available in electronic and hard copy form. Thefrequency of publication will also allow members whohave missed out on articles being printed. Your articlewill be printed in the next edition which is only threemonths away not four. The layout is not changinghowever, the National Presidents Report will only be inthe January, April and October editions.Thank you to all those who have submitted articlesfor the magazine, please keep them coming so we canshare these stories whether they are recent or fromyears ago.
