The theme of the event is to roast and toast the potentate. The following presenters did just that.

Ann Seyler, Kraig & Janet Leiby, Carl & Beth Frey, Don & Carol Heimbecker, Dennis & Karen Guignet, Jared & Kim Kichline,
Larry Bortz, P.P. & Barbara Maxwell, Ron Rapp, P.P., Les Werley & the 2019 Potentate Aides. Carl Hinderer hosted the event.
Photography by Bill Quinn and Sam Ellis
Jared & Kim Kichline gave foot & hand
warmers “because Susie’s hands & feet
are always cold.”
Ron Rapp, P.P., was tired of wearing a Phillies
jersey all year so he gave Ill. Sir a Cardinals shirt,
the team he follows.
Mic & Beth Frey created a photo montage
of “special moments”
The Aides presented Ill. Sir with an engraved
wooden Fez case

ANGLERS
As I write this letter, we have come to the end of another year of fun trips and great fellowship. This
being my last letter as president, I am happy to turn the reins over to Mike Artim, who has some new
and fresh ideas for the coming year. I hope the members will show him the support that you have shown
presidents in the past.
If you missed our Christmas party you missed some great entertainment; Sean Reilly was excellent
singing and giving a history of late great Frank Sinatra. He not only sang his songs but told the stories of
how the songs came into being. Our catered meal was delicious and again we had fun with our door prizes.
A special thank you to those who helped set up for the dinner and to those who brought the door prizes.
We had a great turnout for the ceremonial and congratulations to the newly inducted Shrine members. As
you read this, we most likely will have had the mass installation and one of our own, Marv Miller, will be the Potentate for 2020.
With many in the club acting as aides it should be a very busy but fun year!!
Our commitments for the year
remain the same with bingo and
sauerkraut being the main fund raisers.
With your help we were able donate
$5,000 equally between the hospital
and transportation funds. After all, it is
the kids that this is all about.
Happy New Year to all of you and
may you have a blessed and safe year
ahead.
