Aura liebt Graffiti seit 2015. Ob auf Papier,
Leinwand oder Beton, vor Aura ist nichts sicher!
Sie liebt es mit verschiedenen Techniken, Motiven
und Farben zu experimentieren. Momentan studiert
sie Retail Design in Düsseldorf und verbindet ihre
Leidenschaft für die Sprühdose mit ihrem Studium.
Ihre neue Leinwandserie “About City‘, welche sie
in Hamburg präsentiert, beschäftigt sich mit der
alltäglichen Hassliebe der heimatlichen Großstadt.
In “About City” hat sie ihre ambivalente Beziehung
zum Stadtleben auf Leinwand gebracht. Graue
Tristesse und gleiche Formen, im Gegensatz
zu starken Farben der Sonnenuntergänge und
Graffiti, das einzige was der Großstadt Atmosphäre
verleiht. Sowie dieser ewige Spagat zwischen
Stress, Hektik und Überreizung und dem Wunsch
möglichst zentral und unter Menschen zu sein.

Aura has been doing graffiti and street art since
2015 and whether on paper, canvas or concrete
wall, nothing is safe from Aura! She loves to experiment
with different techniques, motives and
colours. She is currently studying retail design
in Düsseldorf and combines her passion for the
spray can with her studies.
Her new canvas series „About City“, which she
is presenting in Hamburg, deals with the everyday
love-hate relationship of her home city.
In „About City“ she has brought her ambivalent
relationship to city life onto canvas. Grey
tristesse and the same shapes, in contrast
to strong colours of sunsets and graffiti, the
only thing that gives the big city atmosphere.
As well as this eternal balancing act between
stress, hectic and overstimulation and the
desire to be as central and among people as
possible.

„Hi, Ich bin Bona. Ich male Köpfe in ganz
unterschiedlichen Formen und Farben, in
verschiedenen Stilen und Materialien.
Immer wieder gleich und immer wieder
anders. Aber jedes Mal einzigartig so wie
jede/r von uns ist…
Es begann 2006 mit Paste Ups in Berlin.
Mittlerweile sind meine Köpfe in den
unterschiedlichsten Straßen der Welt zu
Hause. Und aus den Postern sind große
Murals geworden.“

face but look pretty different at the same time.
As unique as each one of us is…
I started with paste ups in Berlin 2006.
Meanwhile my faces feel comfortable
wherever I walk internationally and the
paste ups became murals.“
