Reflection<br />
In this chapter, we have explained the reasons why individuals form social<br />
groups, <strong>and</strong> described what happens to relationships between people when<br />
populations grow. We have defined the concepts of equality <strong>and</strong> equity,<br />
explained how governments might use taxation to redistribute income, <strong>and</strong><br />
calculated marginal <strong>and</strong> average tax rates. We have discussed the role that<br />
