Behind the bar on opening
day, we had 72 shirts with
our logo printed in one color.
We thought it might take us
a year to sell them all, but
by the end of the week, they
were sold out! It sure felt
great when a guest wanted
to buy a shirt. To us, it meant
they really liked the place and
maybe they’d tell their friends
about us. Every shirt stands
for the 45 years of good times
at Eskimo Joe’s. Thanks to
our guests, Joe’s shirts have
truly become the smile seen
around the world!

I met John Killam during Eskimo Joe’s first

John joined the family on February 15, 1985, the

World” was recorded. And now, 35 years later, John is

on 14 radio stations in
1985
the area, including northeast Oklahoma’s rock
powerhouse, KMOD, the Rainbow Station. Didn’t
make it to MTV, but the 45 RPM records are a part of
