Young Ivan lives beyond a hell of a lot of stuff
like mountains, rivers, thick forests, and a vast field
of einkorn wheat. His parents were lawyers but decided
to leave it behind, and become farmers in Sakar Mountain.
Einkorn is ancient and simple.. It’s man’s first wheat, grown by
farmers 5,000 years ago. Harmonica chooses Ivan’s farm to be a
supplier for our most tasty snacks because its products are organic.

pepper chunky spread, at our annual Straw Festival.
Each September harmonica welcomes hundreds of friends for a big family
festival at the meadow in front of our little dairy factory. Together

Toma is our Chief food technologist. He is the primary guardian
and a wizard of our core dairy products – yogurt and kefir.
We’ve all gotta start somewhere. Our start was in 2006
when three friends – Maggie, Meto and Lubo chose
to work with the first organic cow farms in Bulgaria.
They didn’t plan to start a business. They wanted
to provide real food for their own families.
harmonica’s first product was traditional, tasty,
emblematic Bulgarian yogurt. It started a journey
that took us to a whole Milky Way of organic products.

The Bulgarian colonel
and healer Peter Dimkov
discovered the healing
properties of the Sambucus
Ebulus, also known as a dwarf
elderberry, at the beginning
of the 20th century.
Peter observed the migratory
birds and noticed how in
the days before they fly
south, they prepared for the
long journey by eating big
quantities of this plant.
