THE HONEY
BIDOO HONEY IS
(USDA) CERTIFIED
ORGANIC.
Our honey comes from Mexico’s remote
southwestern coast known as Costa Chica, in the
state of Oaxaca. It is an area where the rugged
mountains of the Sierra Madre del Sur meet the
blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.
The region enjoys a warm sub-tropical climate
on the coastal plane, and a more temperate
climate higher up in the mountains. Its geography
benefits from numerous microclimates where
the bees forage among the flowers of its varied
and lush vegetation, and provide us with this
fabulously rich, delectable honey.
BIDDO honey is produced with minimal human
intervention from tending the bees and their
hives to the moment it is harvested and shipped.

COMES FROM
HIVES OWNED BY
LOCAL INDIGENOUS
FARMERS.
I they and their mixtec ancestors have cultivated
this soil for centuries. This is a region with few
employment opportunities. Many of its residents
leave their native land in search of jobs elsewhere.
The producers of BIDOO honey focus on the
health of their bee populations and the rich local
biodiversity. These practices allow them and their
families to develop sustainable livelihoods and
stay in their own communities.
