For over 20 years, SkyClad have been a leading
manufacturer of high-quality building solutions
throughout the island of Ireland.
SkyClad specialise in manufacturing galvanised
steel products, steel frame structures, roof and wall
panels, and hygienic panels. They also specialise
in innovative modular structures, isolation units,
homes, classrooms and offices. Through the use
of advanced technology and technical expertise,
SkyClad can offer bespoke solutions to meet client’s
specifications and requirements.
SkyClad’s bespoke modular solutions are built offsite
in a controlled environment or a factory-like

to meet customer specifications and requirements.
The finished product is transported to site and
craned into position. It is then connected to water,
sewage and electricity.
Modules can be fitted with kitchens, wardrobes
and bathroom suites. Alternatively, SkyClad can
manufacture modular builds as homes, isolation
units, hospital rooms, class rooms, reception areas
The benefits of a SkyClad modular unit include;
• 60 year design life
• High quality, durable builds
• Turnkey modular solutions
• Compliance with all current building regulations
• Adaptability of design to extend or retract
• Internal fit-out options
• Hygienic healthcare fit out solutions
STEEL FRAME STRUCTURES
SkyClad manufacture galvanised steel frames for
use in industrial, commercial, domestic, educational
and hygienic structures. Based on Clients specific
dimensions, SkyClad can manufacture steel frames,
up to 18 metre clear spans.
SkyClad provide a variety of steel frame sections
that are manufactured using structural grade steel.
ROOF AND WALL PANELS
SkyClad roof and wall panels can be used on
industrial, commercial, educational and hygienic
builds. They can also be used as internal walls or to
refurbish existing structures.
Galvanised Steel Frame Structures
All steel used for production is galvanized light gauge steel to I.S EN 10346 – continuously hot-dip coated
steel flat products for cold forming. All structural components are designed to Eurocode 3 and are CE
marked to system 2+ of I.S EN 1090-1 – execution of steel structures and aluminium structures - requirements
for conformity assessment of structural components.
The LGS components contain all connection holes that are pre-punched within the steel members using
CNC controlled roll formers. The roll formed sections are assembled into a frame system with a corner post
module which utilises the SkyClad 300 Series Beam for the corner columns, SkyClad 300 Series Beam for
the perimeter beams and the SkyClad 150 Series Beam for floor and roof joists, giving the product a 60
year design life.
SkyClad offer a range of roof and wall panels. Our polyisocyanurate (PIR) panels consist of PIR
sandwiched between a galvanised profiled external weather sheet and a galvanised internal sheet.
Wall panels are available in a range of 40mm – 240mm PIR insulated panels with a certified thermal
conductivity as low as 0.022 W/mK, while receiving excellent thermal and acoustic performances.
Wall panels are available in a variety of colours, profiles and ceiling heights, and, can be laid vertically or
horizontally depending on your requirements. Hygienic healthcare fit out solutions are also available for
isolation units, hospitals and clean rooms.
Windows and Doors
Our window system is capable of achieving ratings up to A+10 with U-values ranging from 1.4w/m2k to 1.0w/m2k for
energy efficiency, however our standard windows achieve “A” ratings with ease.
The system is also capable of achieving ratings as low as 0.8w/m2k or “passive rating” with a particular glass
All electrical works are carried out on site by approved RECI electricians (Registered Electrical Contractors of Ireland).
Heating and Plumbing
Plumbing works are based on customer specifications, i.e.; WC, electric shower, kitchen, hand basin. A variety of
heating systems can be used in SkyClad Modular Builds.
Modular units are portable, transported from a manufacturing facility and craned into position on site. Subsequently,
the modular units can be retrieved from site and redeployed to a second or third location in the future.
